MEGAN'S POV

Part one of my plan was about to be initiated. I was getting ready for school, but today I was different. Instead of covering myself up, I wore a form-fitting dress that just barely fit into the school's dress code. I usually wore it when I went out with my parents, but today was special in its own respects as well.

Today was the day I had another tutoring session with Marcel. And I had decided that if wants to call me a slut, then I would act like one. He was going to be blown away.

I curled my hair with my big curling iron, making sure it had enough volume to look "Victoria's Secret" sexy. I put on just a touch more makeup than usual, making sure I didn't overdo it. After getting ready, I studied my reflection.

I groaned at what I saw, wishing I could be pretty like all the other girls at school. Even when I dressed up to look my best, I fell far short of "perfect." I gave myself another glance, approving the look even though it had its flaws.

I hopped in my little purple car and headed for school, which was fortunately only a few minutes away. I parked in my usual spot, fixed my hair again, and stepped out of my car. I waved to some of my classmates who were getting ready to go in as well.

I grabbed my cute Vera Bradley backpack and slung it over my shoulder. I took a deep breath and walked through the parking lot.

"Hey," some senior said, flashing a smile.

"Hellooooo Megan!"

"Sup?"

"Hi there..."

As I walked through the hallway, I almost started outright laughing. Guys were talking to me like crazy this morning. I mean, I usually got a few "hey"s and "sup"s, but this was insane. I guess the guys liked this new look of mine.

That meant my plan was working.

"Anna!" I called out to my friend as she waved to me from her locker across the hall.

"Whoaaa, Megan!" She said, looking over my outfit with approval. I twirled around a bit for her, showing her just how good I looked.

"What do you think?" I asked hopefully. I really wanted her to approve of it... I had worked so hard to look good today.

"Dang, girl," she told me, placing a hand on her hip and grinning. "That nerd isn't going to know what hit him!"

"I really look that good?" I asked, fingering the lace on the bottom of my dress.

"Yeah, the poor kid is really going to regret what he did now that you look so perfect," she told me. "All the guys are going to be all over you."

"They already are," I whispered, noticing some guys looking at me as they walked past. "Not that it's a bad thing..."

"Uh, yeah... that's not bad at all!" Anna said as she saw a particularly good-looking guy stare me down and wave. "Even Will is looking at you!"

A big smile was immediately plastered onto my face as I lifted up a hand in greeting. Will was one of the hottest guys in our entire grade. I had kind of liked him for quite a few years. But then again, what girl here didn't have a bit of a crush on him?

But Will had never asked a girl out--ever. And he always turned down the few girls who asked him out. So he was off-limits to nearly everyone. When he talked to a girl, rumors started buzzing all over school. And now he was waving at me!

"Anna!! What do I do?!" I asked frantically.

"Just go up and talk to him," she suggested. I rolled my eyes. Did she not understand?

"That's Will Hawthorne for goodness sakes! I can't just go up to him and talk! He's way too... amazing..." I said dreamily. He would probably just shoot me down...

"Fine," Anna said. "Maybe later he'll talk to you!"

"I sure hope so," I giggled. The bell rang and I waved goodbye to my best friend. I took another glance at Will and was pleased to see him still watching me.

Today was going to be a good day.

I wish I had the confidence to dress all hotsy-totsy like Megan. HAHAHAHA

Is there a guy at your school that EVERYONE likes? I used to have that at my elementary school, but it's not like that as much anymore...
