I'm upstairs in the bathroom, looking in the mirror, fixing my hair. At the start of the day it always does exactly what I want it to do, and in the evening it just untames, if that's a thing? I look at my outfit, Connor picked it out. It's not special or anything, just suit and tie. He gave me his red tie, and he is wearing my blue one. It's funny because he's the blue personality, and I'm the red one, but we both have the other's personality color as tie. 'Troye! Zoe and Alfie are leaving!' Connor yells. I smile at the sound of his voice; even when he yells, something rustic shines through his voice. I walk downstairs, our house is almost empty, a few people are standing by the front door, getting their jackets. How long had I been in the bathroom? I don't remember people leaving. Zoe walks up to me, her hair perfectly curled as always and Alfie by her side, proudly showing off his beautiful girlfriend. 'It was so nice to see you again!' she says sweetly. I nod, I open my mouth to say something but she is quicker, 'Wait, actually, I think I forgot my phone in the kitchen.' Alfie frowns, Zoe grabs my hand and she pulls me with her to the kitchen. Connor laughs and he and Alfie start talking. We walk in and her phone is indeed still laying on our kitchen counter. 'So Troye,' she says as she turns to me, 'how are you?' she asks with a more serious tone to her voice. 'I'm fine' I say startled, and I lay my hand on the kitchen counter. 'And you?' I ask back. She smiles, her blue eyes light up. She lays her hand on her stomach.'uhmm.. well..' she utters as she starts glowing. My eyes widen 'Zoe...' I utter. 'I'm pregnant..' she squeeks, with a smile that reaches tokyo. My jaw drops, and I raise my eyebrows. 'Woah...' I say startled. 'Wow!' I state, letting the news sink in. 'I know right..' she says softly. She's glowing, inside out. 'That's amazing..' I say in disbelief. She just nods at me and she pulls a piece of hair out of her face. 'We have to celebrate!' I say in an impulse, reaching for the bottle of wine next to the olive oil on the counter. She frowns. 'Troye..' she says with a grin. 'Oh, right' I laugh. 'We could do dinner sometime soon?' I say, pouting my lips. 'Sure!' she says. I pull my hand through my hair, 'woah, that's just so exciting! I'm truly happy for you' I state. 'I see' she says back with a smile. 'yeah..' I say looking at the ground. I start to tear up. My hand that's laying on the kitchen counter starts to tremble. 'Troye..?' Zoe asks. She grabs my hand, her hand feels soft because of her handcream line, she's warm too. She comfortingly squeezes my hand. 'Are you sure you're fine?' she asks again. I don't dare to look at her, I fight back my tears. I look up again, like I'm surprised, like I zoned out for a moment. 'Yeah, I'm sure' I say with big eyes. She quickly lifts up the corners of her mouth, she then lets them fall down again. We walk back to our husbands. 'Found it' Zoe says as she puts her phone in her purse. 'You know what they say, a girl without a phone is like a husband without his wife' I state, and I smirk. Zoe and Alfie laugh, Connor smirks at me 'Or without his husband' he adds. I feel someone pushing me from behind, I stumble aside, Lilly and Tyler come through, Tyler has his arm around her neck 'Hello, people from planet earth. We are continuing this party in the city. wanna join?' Lilly asks, obviously a bit tipsy. 'No, thank you we have a plane to catch tomorrow morning' Zoe states and she looks at Alfie. Connor looks at me, I lightly shake my head. he smiles at me reassuring. 'No, we better stay and clean up this place.' he says. 'Ugh, sluts' Tyler responds and he smirks his sassy smirk. 'Byeee' they say in sync and they leave. 'We better go too' Alfie states. Zoe nods. She hugs me and Connor and they head out the door. That just leaves Connor and me.

I throw the last empty bags of chips in the trashcan and make my way to Connor, who is busy picking up glasses. 'Connor' I say softly. 'I'm heading to bed' I peck him on his cheek. I turn around to walk away, he grabs my hand and turns me back around, smirking at me. His green eyes are glowing. 'Sir Sivan Mellet, may I dance with you?' he asks me with a formal voice. I smirk back. I put my left hand on his hip, My right one is intertwined with his left one and we dance old-school style. 'We didn't get the chance to dance tonight' he says. He pulls me close, our cheeks are touching. We twirl around in our living room, soft music is sounding from the speakers next to the tv. It's a song I recorded with Alex Hope; BLUE. I smirk; 'You know, we are both slaying life right now.' He laughs. 'Yup, we totally are.' the music quits, it's silent for a second. We pull away and we look into each other's eyes. The way we have done so many times before, and it just never gets boring. It's like chocolate and skittles, it never ceases to amaze you. A very well known guitar riff sounds through the speakers, our mouths curve into a smile as we start dancing when the drums kick in, our hands still intertwined. This is our last dance. The other guitar riff kicks in and we squeeze each other's hands as we think back to our wedding. Our eyes light up when Bono starts singing, we listen to the lyrics while keeping our eyes locked, twirling around. When the chorus kicks in we start jumping and flopping around the living room. 'OOOOH OOHH OOH OOOOH OOH OH, YOU LOOK SOOOO BEAUTIFULLL TONIGHT!' we scream to each other. I pull him close to me, 'In the city... of blinding lights..' I finish the sentence. While a shiver sends down my spine.
