As Gerard approached Frank's doorstep, he struggled to knock on the door and hold Frank up simultaneously. When he eventually managed it, however, Frank's mother answered the door almost immediately.

"Frank Anthony Iero, Jr, where the Hell have you- Oh, hello dear, come in, come in. Is Frank alright? Are you? It's dangerous out there now, how far did you have to walk with him like that?" Mrs Iero lead Gerard up the stairs and into Frank's room as she spoke, her motherly possessiveness taking immediate control.

"We were at my house and we didn't realise the time until my mom told us, and Frank's phone had died otherwise I would've had him call and stay at mine. Sorry we worried you." Gerard lied easily.

"No, no, it's not your fault at all, dear. It is awfully dark out now, why don't you stay here the night, can you call your mother? I'm sure she'll want you safe as well."

Frank was in that happy state in the middle of awake and dreaming as he heard this conversation, and then he giggled lightly, "Gee can share my bed, he's always warm and cosy."

To this, both Gerard and Frank's mother raised their eyebrows, before Mrs Iero smiled with an amused shake of her head and bid the boys sweet dreams.

"Really?" Gerard laughed, "How long have you been awake?"

Frank shrugged with a sleepy grin, "When did we get to my front door?"

The vampire smiled with a short sigh, "You're mean to me."

"It's a mutual thing now," Frank replied before yawning and pulling at Gerard's arm, motioning for the vampire to lay down with him. Gerard did so without protest and wrapped his arms around the smaller boy, whispering to him a goodnight, and kissing his lips one more time that night.

Waking up, Frank found himself desperate for a piss, but he couldn't leave his bed for fear of waking the vampire asleep next to him. He sighed and decided to try to sleep again, just for a little longer, or until Gerard woke him up. However, that wasn't quite what his bladder had in mind, and just as Frank was about to get up, Gerard turned onto his side and wrapped an arm around him.

"Shit." Frank whispered to himself, trying to move the arm from off of him gently.

Gerard's arm only got tighter, "Just five minutes," he whispered groggily.

"Gee, no, I really need to get up." Gerard didn't move his arm. "Gee. Gee, I gotta take a whiz." The vampire remained in his position, adamant, until he felt the younger boy's lips against his, and he moved both his hands to the sides of Frank's face, holding him there gently.

Frank pulled away quickly and ran out of his room chuckling, leaving a tired Gerard confused and alone until he returned and was stood by the doorway. "I've said it before, and I'll say it again; you're mean to me, Frankie."

"Yeah, well, you wouldn't let me go piss," Frank shrugged with a lazy smile.

"I was comfortable.." Gerard began pouting a little, seeing if he could lure Frank back to the now cold part of the mattress he was previously laying on.

"So was I," Frank agreed with a tilt of his head as he sat by the vampire's legs, leaning forward and capturing Gerard's lips with his own once again.

The vampire sat up, welcoming Frank's closeness, both boys unaware Frank's bedroom door was still wide open and his mother was on her way to offer the two some breakfast.

Mrs Iero hadn't gotten any words out as she stood by her son's bedroom door for a few moments, not wanting to interrupt them, but knowing she shouldn't just keep it to herself. She leaned against the door frame with a large smirk, before asking, "Would you boys like any breakfast, or should I just leave you alone a while?"

The young boys both pulled away as fast as they could and shot their glances to the door, neither one knowing what to say. Mrs Iero just laughed a little and left her son and the vampire alone, shutting the door behind her with a wink in Frank's direction.

"Oh my fucking god," Gerard burst out laughing, falling off of the bed as he did so. Frank just continued to stare at his bedroom door in shock until Gerard kicked his shin, "Your mom's great, holy shit." The vampire remained on the floor until he regained his breath and placed himself back on the bed, immediately being hit in the arm several times by a blushing Frank.

"Shut up! What the hell do I do now?!" Frank asked, exasperated.

"Just go downstairs? She obviously doesn't care, I mean if she did she would have yelled at you and possibly pulled us apart and kicked me out and, y'know, stuff like that..." Gerard's voice grew quieter towards the end of his words and Frank knew he was talking from experience.

Frank let out a small sigh and quickly pecked the side of the vampire's mouth before taking his hand and standing, "C'mon, then." Gerard smiled and compliantly followed to the top of the stairs before hesitating in his steps. "What's up, Gee?"

The vampire sighed internally before whispering, "I haven't asked you yet; will you officially be my boyfriend?"

Frank grinned and nodded, kissing him on the lips for just a second before pulling him downstairs and into the kitchen.

In the kitchen, Frank's mother was grinning madly and not-so-subtly nudged her husband, him sighing in response. "Bloody hell, woman, calm down." He turned to face his son and, as he was now informed, his son's boyfriend, by assumption. "So, um, Frank," he cleared his throat, "you're, uh, 'batting for the other team,' are you?"

Frank legitimately face-palmed with the hand that wasn't holding Gerard's own, before pulling the awkward vampire from his home, "We're going now."
