2 weeks later.

“Emily we’re going out tonight, we haven’t been in ages, meet at that club on the corner about nine?” I asked through the phone,

“Sure, looking forward to it!” she squealed,

“ok, see ya then.”

“Bye!”

This was going to be awesome, me and Em haven’t gotten smashed in ages plus I needed to forget something I found out this morning… smiling slightly to myself I walked to my closet, what to wear? I had two hours to get ready.

After a long nice bath and some pre-drinks I pulled out a silver strapless shirt that clung to my curves with some little black shorts only long enough to cover the leather strap that was around my left thigh and silver pumps, I may look like a bit of a slut but it would be hot in the club and a lot of other girls would look way worse. I slipped my knife in the strap and left, I was looking forward to this, I thought smiling to myself.

I made my way down the street to the club to meet Emily, it was a very long walk but it wasn’t a very short one either, I smiled to myself as I thought about how much my life has gotten better since two weeks ago, so far nobody has tried to kill me thank god, I have an amazing boyfriend and I’m in the championships for motor cross.  I quit soccer, our team isn’t really going anywhere so it’s not worth the early mornings.

~~~~~~~~
The bouncer at the door stood in front of me, I really didn’t want to wait in line so I smiled sweetly up at him, he was bald with big muscles and tattoos covering his biceps, typical bouncer appearance, he stood aside to let me in. well that was easy.
The music was even louder in here, duh obviously Bell.  I had no idea where Emily would be so I wandered over to the bar, there were about four bartenders working really quickly to help out the continuous stream of people, as one of them came over to me I ordered a straight shot of vodka downing it in a second before wandering over to the dance floor, DJ Khaled’s ‘all I do is win’ was playing.
After some more drinks, I lost count at 15 I was Dancing alone swaying my hips and held my hands up getting lost in the atmosphere forgetting everything, I closed my eyes concentrating on the music, I felt some random grinding against me, usually i would push them off me but this time I just went with it letting the music and alcohol take over me.  Just then, a thought hit me, where was Emily? I pulled out my phone from my pocket and dialled her number.  Straight to voicemail, shit.  Maybe she was at home, I dialled her home number:
“Hello?” her mum answered,
“Uh hey Mrs Fitzgerald is Emily there?” I crossed my fingers behind me and hoped my voice sounded casual.
“No she isn’t hun she said she was going out, is everything ok?”
“Yeah, I was just wondering, thankyou, bye mrs Fitzgerald.”
“Bye hun.”
I cursed under my breath, I would have to search this whole club, I could ask the bouncer if she’d gone out or even come in here.  If he hadn’t seen her then I would search this whole place,
I asked the bouncer at the door but he just shook his head, then I heard a strange sound over the pumping of the inside music, I stepped out into the street more to try and get a better listen,  My blood ran cold when I heard a shudder worthy scream, what if that was her? Something inside me, instincts maybe, told me to go check it out, some poor girl could be getting hurt.  My mind however said I should just go home and not risk anything, yeah right , I was going to check this out.
By the time I had run halfway down the street I heard another blood curdling scream, I was so close but there wasn’t any place in sight to hide, then I looked around there was an ally, of course, it’s always the ally. I jogged as quiet as I could to try and see what I was getting myself into, I cursed as I kicked an empty can then stood on a food wrapper.  Now I know why I wasn’t a spy.  I heard movement over to my left and froze as I turned.
Oh my god.
My body started shaking with horror, I could not believe what I saw.
There was a body right in front of me.  A girl body, her clothes were half ripped off her as she lay there, I stepped closer to get a better view.  I wish I hadn’t.
Blonde curly hair lay in a mess around her.
Laying there in a little ball not moving.
“No.” I whispered to myself.
“No no no no no no!” My voice had risen higher and higher as I kept repeating the word ‘no’ to myself, eventually I was squealing. This was my fault, I ran over to the lifeless figure to see if she was alive, how do I do that? think, think, think, right! Check her pulse.  I leant over and placed my hand on her neck and stopped breathing.
Letting my breath out in a sigh of relief I felt a pulse, it was barely there though.
What do I do now? Calm down Izabell! Call the Ambulance!
I pulled my phone out of my shirt and dialled the ambulance.
“right, stay with me please.  Oh Emily please be okay.” I begged.
