Chapter 7!

Elliot’s  POV.

I can’t believe I kissed her! What was I thinking? I wasn’t.  I wasn’t thinking about anything.  Except her,  Izabell  Mctavish.  I wasn’t allowed to talk to her, touch her or especially not kiss her!  He was going to kill me, or at least try to.

I let out a big sigh; I couldn’t talk to her now.  He was going to ban me from ever even looking at her, we were probably going to move too. Great.

I got out of my car and headed towards the house in front of me,

“Here I go.” I muttered.

“Ah, Elliot it’s nice to see you!  After last night you vanished, what happened?” said the man, he was sitting in a computer chair facing away from me, next I suppose he would turn around stroking a cat…

“Uh, yeah sorry about that, someone called me for a…job.” I lied to him,

“Good, I wouldn’t want to think that you went to save that girl.”

My heart clenched as I thought about how lifeless Bell had looked in the back of the ambulance, dude get a grip!

“I went and saw her.” I blurted wincing at what was coming next.

The man swivelled around in his chair, I was surprised to see he was still wearing the same suit as last night and his eyes were bloodshot like he had been drinking. Oh shit.  He’s drunk. I cursed myself for not checking what mood he was in first. Shit, shit, shit! He was definitely not going to reply well.

“You.  Went.  And.  Saw.  Her.” He hissedthrough gritted teeth.

He walked up to me so we were an inch apart.  He bought his fist up and punched me in the gut, my breath leaving me with an Ooof!  He punched me again two more times then hit me in the jaw, I just stood there enduring it, I deserved this.  I really did.

I fell onto the floor and just stared up into John’s blue eyes blazing with anger,  the pain was nearly unbearable as he kicked me repetitively in the ribs, just as I thought I was going to pass out, he stopped, walked back to sit in his chair and stared at the ceiling. 

I rolled onto my back groaning preparing to get up and see the damage.
