"Good morning Grandma!" I yell across the house. "Morning Riley. I'm going out, do you need a ride somewhere?" She asks sweetly. "No ma'am. I'm fine thanks. Love you. Bye." I reply.

I put on my favorite pair of skinny jeans and my neon infinity shirt. I hurriedly ate a bowl of cereal and sprinted into the bathroom of my grandparents house. I put on a little make-up and flat iron my hair. Which takes me a while because its just a few inches above my belly button. I put on some perfume. Then grab my keys and sprint out of my grandparents flat. I'm living here until I find a place of my own.

I grab my longboard and begin flying down the drive way. I put in my earbuds and Troublemaker begins to play. I then listen mindlessly and ride to the mall. I'm on my way to meet my best friends, Carley and Victoria. We've known each other for eighteen years. We do everything together and tell each other everything. Before they got boyfriends we would set each other up on blind dates. But that didn't go well.

One time they set me up with Victorias psycho neighbor. That really didn't go well. We still laugh hysterically about it. I even tried setting Carley up with my cousin. They didn't even get through five minutes of the date. We promised never to do such a horrid thing again.

"Hey!!!" I exclaim as I aproach them in the food court. "Hey! You road your longboard all the way from your house?!? We could've given you a ride!" Carley lectures. I laugh and explain that I really needed some exercise. I go and put my board in Victoria's car. We walk back into the mall and enter Forever 21. Our favorite store of all time. Our closets are filled with the clothes from there.

"I wish we could hangout every day!" I say merrily. "That actually brings up a thought I had..." Carley blabs. "I found a flat we can rent that has three bedrooms and three and a half baths. Its near the University and is priced well." "We're going to be roomates?!?", Victoria exclaims giddily. We made plans to view the flat a couple days later.

We walked into the flat and I was instantly in love with it. It had beautiful hardwood floors, marble countertops, and a beautiful fireplace. The backyard has several trees and a big underground pool. We knew we had to rent this house. It was perfect.

We figured out all the details about money and food. I work as an intern at a law firm and I work part time at a photography studio. Carley works part time at the studio and at a bakery. Victoria works at a Starbucks near the University. All of our jobs make ends meet so we're happy with them. We move into the flat in a couple days. I need to pack, but I just can't.

We're moving in tomorrow and I'm super excited. But I'm still working on the packing. Very slowly might I add. "So have you finished packing yet?" Carley asks curiously. "Uhh... Yeah I did." I say even though I'm no where near close to finished. "Have you even started?!?" I can hear eagerness in her voice. "I started... But then I got distracted..." I reply. "Well, I'll let you pack. Be ready by 11 tomorrow!" I began packing and it wasn't neatly. It's two in the morning and I still have to pack my dresser. I'm such a procrastinator. I decided that if I want to be ready by tomorrow I need help. "Hey, Liam. What's up?", I say trying to sound nice. "Riley. It's past two. What do you want?", he asks me sounding annoyed. "Can you come help me pack, please? If you do I'll love you forever.", I respond. "I'll be over in ten."

I walk out front because I don't want to wake my grandparents. Liam pulls into the drive way. I greet him with a big hug and we walk inside. "So how's school?", he asks me. "Fine. How's your girlfriend? Anne? No, Mary? Wait. Emily?", I ask sounding a bit rude. But hey I'm tired. "First of all. Her name was Molly. Second, I broke up with her. She was clingy." "So we're both single. I guess Mom and Dad shouldn't count on anymore grandchildren, huh?", I laugh at that joke. We've actually gotten a lot of my stuff packed. Only my dresser is left. "Nope. They shouldn't.", he chuckles. We finish packing and go sit down on the couch.

It's five. And we're both drifting off. I can't wait until we've moved in. It's going to be fun living with my best friends. I finally fall asleep and wait for tomorrow to come.
