Oleg  was the worst name his parents could have ever given him- everybody tagged it with Oaf. "Oleg the Oaf"  was the title that had followed him for his whole life.

All he ever heard were insults; from his peers, their parents and their parents after that. But there were only two people who thought different.

His Mother and Father.

Ivan and Ursula were the most supportive people he had ever known. Naming him Oleg was the only thing he didn't like about them-the rest he loved. He was forever grateful for the life they had given him. They would always protect him in the face of all the criticism. His parents stood firm never letting them get too close.

Despite their love, he always knew he didn't fit in.

He didn't jump high like the rest of the Bounders. He wasn't designed to take off to glorious heights like they were. He loved silence while they loved being part of their community. His plump body and lack of hair made him stand out like a weed poking out from a garden bed.

All the Bounders were slender and had gold draping their scalps. His face wasn't fine, it was rigid and the only form of clothing worn by everyone, coconut husks bathers, gave him the moniker of an idiot too. He knew he would never be like them.

He had another purpose.

He had a hidden gift.

It all started with Jane.
