Alazne looks at him "... I'm what most would call a doctor. ... and I don't live anywhere really I go where I'm needed..." she keeps watching people and how they are acting they way they are. She sees women dancing on stage, men playing a card game and getting drunk. And she doesn't understand why
Velius tries his best to hold in his laugh and stares up at the dancing women. "Sure you are." He states, then watched the women dance in such a seducing manner, making him clear his throat. "So. After the dance.. I'm going to play. Hopefully you will care enough to stay and watch me." He placed a finger on his lip, "Perhaps you may even enjoy to stand at the stage with me."
Alazne looks at him when he starts talking and smiles "I am a doctor, I love caring for people there's a joy in it .... Even If the person doesn't make it ....." she goes back to watching people "and I will stay and watch ..... but no thank you I do not wish to be on stage. .." she says quietly not really like the looks she's getting as It is from the men in the inn.
Velius nods to her, clearly he was not listening because he did not care about sick or dying people. /Hell... We need more of those people.\ he then turns his attention to the stage. "I guess it's my turn. See you soon." He winks to her before heading up there, lute in hand. When he got there, he cleared his throat, said a small speech which made some people cheer and played a quick note before playing a popular song in the area named, "To you, I drink"
Alazne watches him go and smiles softly, she closes her eyes as she listens to him play. Happy that she meet such a nice guy she thinks to herself 'are all humans this kind... Or is he just special.' She looks at the drink he was drinking and wonders what it is, knowing it wasn't milk or water or a kind of juice for a child, 'I wonder is these what the humans call alcohol' she thought as she looks back at him up on the stage.
Velius continued his song and played one after a another, throughout the whole time, he kept his eyes on the angel sitting on the stool. /Are all angels thus innocent looking?\ he gulped and nearly lost focus on his song. /What's my next plan.. After gaining her trust....\ he began to think of things to do and suddenly stopped playing. "I apologize, good folk! I seem to be a bit thirsty!" He chuckles as the group began to laugh. He clears his throat and went to the Angel and sat in the still beside her, ordering himself a glass of 'water'
Alazne keeps watching and listening, but when he stops playing she wonders why. She looked around the Inn will he waited for his drink. Then slowly says "... the songs you played were very pretty" as she looks at him again.
Velius drank the shot of 'water' and after swallowing it, he smiled at her. "Thanks.. You are... So kind..." He laughed a little and asked for more of this 'water' until soon enough, he was seeing double of Alazne which made him laugh hysterically.
Alazne watched him wondering why he is drinking so much, just when he starts laughing hysterically she thinks he's had enough ".... um I think you should stop drinking that stuff before something happens..." she says in a suggestive way.
Velius' eyes flashed red as she spoke. "Don't say that.." He glared at her and let out a hiss before laughing again. "So.. err.. Girl.. You want.. To dance?" He reached for another drink but stopped himself. /Dammit..\ He touched his head and grumbled curses.
Alazne noticed a change in him for a second then it want away "... Umm.. No I'm ok .... But I think I'm going to go now.... It was nice hearing you play though" she gets up and walks away from the bar towards the door lost in thought as she leaves the inn 'why am I here?' She asked herself trying to figure out way God sent her to earth after so many years of not being able to.
Velius quickly gets out of his stool and nearly falls to the floor. He catches his balance and began to make his way outside where she had gone. "Hey!" He yelled after her and caugt up to her swiftly. "I'm sorry! I ..hic! got a little too much to drink."
