Alazne smiles as she watches the lantern float into the sky, but soon the feeling that she is being called comes back. She slowly turns away from velius and the other people watching the lanterns. She walks throw the people heading for the gate to leave. When she gets the the gate she stops for a second and looks back, not noticing her eyes change from blue to a red orange. Once she's sure that velius isn't following her, at least from what she can tell. She walks towards the forest. Once she's at the edge of the forest she follows the path until she gets back to the lake.
Velius hadn’t noticed her gone until the lanterns began to disappear from sight. When he looked down to say something to her, he widened his eyes after realizing that she was not there. He quickly got out of the huge crowds of people and searched to no avail. He muttered a few curses before running behind one of the stalls where snacks were being sold, which was closed for the night, and once the people had turned their attention away from him, he shifted into an owl. He knew that she had probably ran off somewhere else, but he didn’t know where. It took him a while of searching, but with his sharp eyesight, he spotted the maiden in blue. Quickly, he swoops down not too far above her and follows her towards the lake. The flight was long, and when he reached the lake, he perched up onto a bush that was sitting just on the edge of the water. Across from him, was Alazne. He watched her closely and noticed a strange look in her eyes…
alazne looks at the water and frowns slightly “why am i being called out here?” she asked herself out loud, she looks around knowing someone is watching her “whos there?.... come out please?” she turns around to see if the person is behind her “i guess no ones here but me ….. but then who was calling me out here?” she turns back around, she looks at the water as she sits down staring at the water. she closes her eyes as she thinks about who was calling her here, after a few minutes she opens her eyes and her eyes are still red.
Velius sat there for along moment. He began to grow slightly impatient when she had closed her eyes.. He let's out a hoot and wondered who she was talking about. When he sees her eyes open, he fluffy his feathers up in shock of what he saw. Her eyes were red… /Do Angel’s have red eyes?\ He thought to himself, and soon enough, his giant eyes flashed red as well, as if it were responding to her. He quickly turned his head completely around to avoid contact with her.
Alazne looks at the owl sitting on the bush “come out i know you're there, i don't like being watched “ she slowly stands up and looks behind her “i said come out!!” as soon as she says that it was like the person was being pulled out by force but nothing was touching him. She looked at the man “what do you want and why are you following me” the men kneeled and lowered his head “i was sent by my lord to follow you and make sure nothing happens to you …. He does not wish to see you harmed “ alanze looks at the water again and thinks for a minute “... I do not need to be watched …. No go back where you came from and leave me alone…. If i find you following me again the conversation will not be as nice” without saying another word he sinks into the ground and soon after he disappears her eyes turn back to blue and she faints not use to that sort of power.
Throughout the meeting that Alazna had with the angelic figure, Velius stood in shock, his head had turned back to her direction when he heard her speak. Quickly, he turned away again when the figure disappeared. /What the hell.\ He thought, hopping closer to Alazne, who had fainted. When he flew atop of her, he shifted into his human form and had picked her up in his arms. “Alazne?“ He asked, shaking her once before stepping away from the lake. /Perhaps.. I should take her to that cave. \
When velius turns back he come back above the ground standing instead of kneeling “...demon what business do you have with her?” he questions ready to attack him if needed. But when he sees the demon's body language he know velius means no harm to alazne “demon i must ask you to stay away from her …. Her being here already is starting to change her… and for her to return home with me when this is all over she will need to stay the same as when she came …. I know you saw what happened before she fainted … that is part of the change i'm talking about … i will not warn you again” he sinks back into the ground and disappears for now.
Alazne stays out for a few hours. When she comes to she puts her hand to her head as she sits up. She keeps her eyes closed as she tries to remember what happened. She slowly opens her eyes and looks around.
Before Alazne had awakened, Velius nearly dropped Alazne’s sleeping body when the angelic being appeared before him. He listened to what he said and furrowed his brows. “Wait!” He tried to run towards the sinking figure but it was too late, the being had already disappeared.
After a short while of just standing there thinking about what had just happened. Velius concluded that Alazne was a special angel.. But how? He didn’t know who to talk to. Perhaps the dark lord could help? He took this thought into consideration and even stopped by the same cave. It wasn’t until he barely reached the entrance when Alazne had open ed her eyes. “Oh.. You're awake..” He said, clearing his throat nervously. “I found you near the lake. You had me worried sick.. Why did you leave?”
