Alazne slowly looks up at velius "... I don't know ...." she slowly closes her eyes again as she relaxes knowing she's ok. "...i don't even remember leaving ..... I wonder why i was at the lake ...." starts falling asleep "...im think im going to take a short nap..." she lays her head against his chest and falls asleep quickly before he can respond to her. As she sleeps some of her features change, just small things most would never notice.
Velius furrows his brows, he couldn't help but touch her cheek with his hand before adjusting her in his arms and then moving forward inside of the cave, something had brought him close to it. It was almost as if somebody was calling him to go inside, was it the dark Lord? Why were these things happening so fast? "Okay... " He whispers, getting to the depths of the cave before placing Alazne on the bloody ground in front of the altar. He then gets on his knees and began to chant a few words in a slurred language, it wasn't long before he heard that familiar voice yell.
"Arise!"
Velius instantly stood up and looked at the altar which glowed as it spoke.
"You.. Brought her.. Well done.. Perhaps you really are useful for something."
Although quite insulted, this brought great honor to Velius.
Alazne stays asleep but stirs a little as she touches the cold ground when velius sits her down, she hears velius speaking but doesn't understand what he is saying she tries to wakes up but she is too drained of energy to wake up so she relaxes and continue listening, when that other man spoke she was a little shocked but soon her body makes her slip into a deep sleep.
Velius stayed just behind Alazne's body, he was surprised to see her shifting but once again, she fell asleep. He lets out a sigh of relief when she falls asleep again and listened to the voice that was once again speaking.
"I know what you feel.. I know what you are thinking, Jinn.."
Velius got to his knees and bowed at the altar, he had always known that she was important. "R..Right you are." He muttered, obviously afraid.
"This woman, Alazne... She is neither fully angel, or fully demon.."
"What do you mean?" Velius asked, standing back up and looking at her, he remembered what he had saw, how could she not be an angel?
"She is.." There was a very suspicious pause in his voice, "Important.. Important to those.. She is.. Life and Death, so do no harm to her. Not yet.."
"As you command, lord.." and with that final sentence, the altar stopped its glow, leaving Velius with a million questions.
"L i f e a n d D e a t h ?"
As soon as the glow of the alter stops it starts pouring down rain, after about 20 after the rain started the angel from earlier floats out of the ground "demon i told you to stay away from her! And now you've let your lord know she was here on earth!!! You have no idea on what you have done!!!!" the angel grabed his bow and arrow and got ready to shot it as he yells. When the angel does to shot at velius, alanze wakes up slowly she slowly sits up and rubs her eyes before looking around. When she finally does she sees velius and she smiles softly but when she sees the other angel she quickly stands up and moves back "... Markas what are you doing here?" she says with a slight stutter from shocked of see him here but mostly from him having his weapon drawn.
Velius listened to the rain for a while, but when he sees the being from before rise from the ground, he stares at it with a face full of shock. He knew that a single shot from an angel's bow could easily destroy a demon, and when he pulls out the said bow with the arrows made of pure golden light, he let's out a demonic hissing noise and emitted a black aura. He closed his eyes for a moment and noticed that the angel did not shoot. He opened his eyes to see that Alazne was awake. He saw her smile and then after she looked at Markas, she looked at him, her smile disappeared and was replaced with a face full of confused and suspicious, it was as if her mind was still processing what was happening. He was speechless and let out a weak "I... I'm... " before shifting into a large, black demonic wolf with red eyes and running out of the bloody cave, there was no way he was going to risk getting destroyed by the bow of the angel.
Alanze looked at velius when he transformer and ran off and was shocked to see that he was a demon, let alone that he was the demon wolf that chased her when she first got to earth. She stayed quiet for a few minutes then she slowly looks at markas "Put that away now and go back home. I don't need you here to protect me"
Markas slowly puts it away "i need to stay here with you alanze, you didn't even know that thing was a demon! How are you doing to survive to complete your mission if you can't even tell when one of them is a demon !!!"
Alanze glares at markas "i'm learning, for this being my first time to be on earth i think i'm doing pretty well, now go home and leave me alone!!!!!!" her eyes turn eye red when she says that last part, pushing him back.
As Velius ran out of the cave, he began to pant. /Oh... Man.. What have I done.. I could have died.\ he thought to himself as he went through the trees and past the lake where he had seen Alazne before this all happened. "I need to get out of here.." He said out loud and then continued to paw through the woods, heading towards a large fallen log that was hollow in the center, he settled inside and began to catch his breath, his head resting on his paws. /Now what am I to do? With her and that angel around, I can't go back to the kingdom..\
Alanze walks out of the cave to look for velius, she looks around for a signs of which why he went. "Where did he go?" she asked herself out loud as she slowly starts walking towards the lake.frowning "... Why does markus has to be so nosey?.... Why do angels need to be so 'perfect'? .... This is confusing.... " when she gets the the lakes she sits down by the water looks down at it as she pulls her flute out of her bag. And slowly starts playing it as she thinks about what to do know.
Velius was close to falling asleep, until he began to hear the echo of a flute playing in the distance. It surprised him at first, his head instantly perked up and his ears flicked towards the direction of the flute. He knew who it was, he had recognized the song. It was the same song that Alazne had hummed back at the tavern. When he heard it, he was determining whether or not to approach, but he then decided to go, but try not to be noticed by her. He stood up on his paws and began to tread back towards the lake carefully, making sure to avoid any foliage that would cause him to make a sound. He was quick to find her, the scent of the blood from the cave was all over her. When he reached the lake, he sat just beside the water and listened to her flute. /I wonder what she will think of me now.. She will probably hate me.. Want to strike me with those arrows..\ He looks down at his paws and then laid on his stomach once again.
Alanze stops playing after a little bit and looks at the water ".... Why did Markus have to do that .... Velius isn't a bad person .... Yes he maybe a demon but that doesn't make him a bad person " lays back turning onto my side as i close my eyes unsure of what to do or even why i was sent here.
Her voice made his ears turn to her.. When she spoke of him, he lifted his head from his paws again and then stood up. /Does she really think that?\ He felt so strange. This wasn't Velius.. /What am I doing..\ he muttered to himself as he began to step up to her slowly, his tail between his legs. /I shouldn't be doing this..\ He then goes up into her view and sits there, his eyes began to glow red, signaling to her that it was him..
Alanze looks at the wolf that walked towards her then sit down. When the wolf's eyes glow red she sits up "velius is that you?..." she asks as she sits up. She hugs her knees and looks at the water "sorry about markus ... He can be a bit dramatic .... He means well thoumm.m.gh " she sighs "even if it's annoying." she slowly looks at velius waiting for his response if he even gives one.
Velius didn't switch back. He didn't want to show her the pained look he had on his humanly face. He went closer to Alazne and sat down on the ground after she spoke. "I should have told you.." He said to her telepathically, "I am a demon.. A Jinn..No, not a Genie.. Those are different types of Jinn.." His claws began to sink into the dirt, "Don't worry.. I mean you no harm... I will tell you that the Dark Lord seems to have other plans for you.. He spoke to me, and he sounded very concerned... He said for me not to lay a hand on you, so... Consider yourself lucky.. I nearly had you sacrificed back in that cave."
Alanze looks at him and giggles "even if you didn't have those orders you wouldn't have hurt me, my powers are limited but i can still tell once nature. ... And i had a feeling of that you are but i didn't want that to cloud my judgement of you..... Unlike my fellow angels it doesn't matter to me of what you are" looks at the sky and smiles.
