Alanze giggles and smiled at him looked so embarrassed because he looked kind of cute like that but she decided not to say that "ok." She turn around and follows him still giggling every now and then, she walks beside him as she closes her eyes and hums A soft song.
Velius listened to her giggles along the way and when she stopped her giggling, he saw her coming to his side, the song that she hummed was unknown to him, so he ignored her until they reached the gates of the kingdom. "We have arrived.. Hopefully I can change out of these clothes or something."
Alanze slowly stopped humming and nodded when they got to the gates of the kingdom she looked around and smiled a little still enjoying the rain as she keeps walking with Velius. She looked at the sky as she walked "it's not going to stop raining anytime soon it seems." She says as she looks at him to see what he says.
Velius let's out a sigh, those words were ones he did not want to hear. He continued walking through until they reach the inn from before. "Shall we stay here..? " he asked, really wanting to be inside now and away from the rain.
Alanze follows him and slowly nods when he asks about the inn, even though she didn't mind being in the rain she could tell he wanted out of it. She slowly walks over to the inn with him. Giggling a little was she watches him practically run inside.
Velius let's out a sigh of relief upon entering. He took a seat at one of the tables that were usually used to gamble in, The man behind the counter looked at him, "You playing today, Bard?" Velius shrugs and places his feet on the table and his hands behind his back. The bartender rolls his eyes, "Well.. I could... for a price." Velius smirks, but noticed the bartender starting at Alazne, "You there. . You with this man? Talk some sense into him, will you? Maybe you can sing for us.. The boys are getting a bit restless and want to sing some shanties.. "
Alanze looks at the bartender and smiles sheepishly ".... I'm sorry but I don't think me talking to him will have any effect..... But he should pay for the services he is given ... " she messes with her hair a little bit and blushes slightly ".... And I'm afraid i'm not very good at singing so I will have to say no, sorry..." She stays by the door looking outside watching the rain fall as it starts to storm.
Velius stares at Alazne, the bartender shakes his head and sighs, "so... you going to pay? Good! " he grabs the money and takes his dirt covered lute out. Then he stands from the chair and starts to yell "Oooooooohh" and everybody began to sing songs. Most of the people singing were drunk. "come now, Alazne! Join in! " he plays the notes louder.
Alanze giggles a little as she watches Velius. But when he asks her to join she shakes her head no and goes back to looking outside "..... No that's ok .... I'm really not good at singing ...." She says as she moves her hair out from in front of her face as she watches the rain fall, humming softly.
Velius grumbled, he knew she was lying, the way she was humming to herself made it seem so. He continued playing his lute and let everyone sing the song. He didn't join in though. He started at Alazne most of the time he was there.
Alanze slowly leaned against the wall still looking outside watching the rain fall. She can feel Velius staring at her so she looks at him, and gives him a soft smile. She was trying to fight sleep, the sound of the rain and the warm of the inn was making her sleepy. She doesn't want to fall asleep because she didn't trust the men in the inn, well besides Velius and she still didn't understand why she trusted him. She looks back outside still smiling.
Moments pass, Velius' hands began to tire from carrying and playing the lute, he stopped playing and let the men sing without him. He goes up to Alazne and looks at her with a smile on his face, she looked like she was asleep with her eyes open. "I can pay the room for you.. Earned plenty of tips. " He pulls out a baggy that was filled from his belt, shakes it, then puts it back. "I'm going to go bathe.. Hopefully I can clean these clothes.. " He mutters, his pants were still quite muddy, although the rain washed some of it off.
