Velius smiles before explaining the long story about the crow. It was about how a crow (who had many many colors at the time) began to boast. It boasted about its colors to many animals, including the god who made it and one day, that god punished the bird for being so boastful about its colors. Then, all the colors of the crow were gone. All the crows became black and had to live off as a 'scary bird who fed off of corn'

Alanze listens to the story "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, so it's understandable way god did that, but it's still sad that crows are known as scary when they aren't scary" she pet the crow still smiling softly. "Every creature has something unique and special about them

Velius scoffs when she said that, "I like its new look, but he shouldn't have taken it away!" He stops petting the crow. "It's nothing to get mad about though.." He mutters, kicking a stone that was on the ground.

Alanze smiles "maybe, but maybe not." she stands up "there will always be to different sides of this conversation so let's leave it at that" she looks around "would you like to walk around with me?" she asked as she stretches.

Velius shrugs before nodding his head in agreement. "Sure." He mutters, watching her stretch which made him let out a loud yawn.

Alanze smiles and holds her hand out to him to help him up "ok. Come on then" she said getting excited.

Velius began to get down on one knee to fix his brown shoes. He looked up to see Alazne's hand and quickly took it. It was cold.. He stands up and smiles, "Well.. Let's get to walking.'

Alazne smiled softly even with a small shock from there hands touching. "Ok. Since you know this forest better would you like to lead the way?" she asked tilting her head not wanting to get lost.

Velius smirks as he walks in front of her, "Oh.. Sure." He began to walk towards the direction of the cave, "How about we go explore that cave I was wanting to go to?" He couldn't help but hesitate. He started to like her a little, talking to her was entertaining. He knew it would be best if he did this so that he will win the respect of his lord.. He gulped as they began to get nearer.

Alan's slowly follows but when he asks about the cave she stops ".... I don't have a good feeling about that cave .... I would prefer not to ...." She says running her fingers through her hair nervously.

Velius gasped, "No, no.. It's fine.." He began to feel awkward, his feelings were contradicting and he didn't know what to say.. "I.. I'll go in there, and you stay outside okay? I'll be out.. in a little bit." He looks towards the cave that was now just a few yards in front of them. He places a hand on her arm and gave her a handsome, reassuring smile.

Alazne smiled softly the looks at the cave "...y you s sure?" she asked getting worried that something bad will happen "...y you sure you don't w want to just walk somewhere else?..." she asked still running her fingers through her hair nervously.

Velius looks down. "I'll be back."
He treads inside the long, dark cave that looked like it could go on forever. It's walls were covered in old bloodstains which didn't exactly bother him. Once he found the altar where he did his sacrifices, he looks at the large cauldron full of blood. "I have failed you, dark one." He looks around to see the cave emitting a low, crimson light. The dark one would surely punish him if he didn't deal with the angel.. "I swear to you! I will find a way. I will bring this angel to you!" He notices the altar burning, which wasn't a good sign at all. He backs away and starts to go out of the cave.. That had never happened before. Was there something wrong?

Alanze sit by a tree a about a yard away softly playing her flute trying to calm her nerves. She slowly stops after a few minutes when the feeling of darkness slowly got stronger. She slowly stands up and walks towards the cave to make sure velius was ok. She didn't know way but she was developing feeling for this human. Even though she was shaking from the feeling she got from the caves, she got to the entrance and looked in. "...v velius ..you ok?" she asked in a slight whisper.
