Coral's POV
When I woke up, I saw that I was in a room that had no windows or doors. I looked over and saw that Affiria was laying beside me. I tried to reach out and touch her had, but I couldn't move! It was as if some magical force was holding me down.
I knew something had happened, because a door opened out of nowhere and a giant entered the room. Two more came in behind him and the door disappeared. The two giants took Affiria away to another room.
The giant said, "Looks like you have started changing young demigod. Soon you will join me and become part of my army. Together we will defeat the gods and take over the world."
When I heard that, I was afraid that something was happening, because I could feel my skin start to turn green! I was growing a tail and my nail turned to claws. When I tried to speak, all that came out was a low growl. My beautiful blue eyes were now silver and I was able to sit up.
I tried to send Affiria a message, but I could sense that she couldn't hear me. I started to panic. I looked around to find a mirror so I could see myself. What I saw was a green creature that did not look like me.
The same giant entered the room again, but this time Affiria was with him. I could tell that she was different, because when she looked at me, she snarled and I backed up thinking that she was going to attack me. When the giant wasn't looking, my eyes would flicker between blue and silver. Every time they turned blue, I could tell that she knew it was me. The giant left us together and as soon as he left the room I started changing again, going back to me normal self.
Affiria saw that I was changing and so was she. But she stayed in her animal form longer than I did. As soon as I could talk, I said, "Affiria, what is happening? What did they do to us? We have to get out of here."
"There is no way out. I have already tried to escape." Affiria said. I was happy to see that she too was back in her human form. When the giant returned, I could hear swords' clanking like the battle was still going.
The giant took us outside. When I saw my parents fighting, I was happy to see them again. My mother was the first to see me and tried to get close to me.
But when the giant touched me I turned back into the serpent. I had a scared look on my face. Mother could tell that I was scared. Mom sent me a message saying, "I will find a way to get you out of here. Everything is going to be okay." Then I said. "I know. Tell papa I love him and Rivaden very much. Hurry!"
Then the giant took us away. We went back into the building. The rest was just a blur. All I remembered was someone moving me and when I woke up, I was in the infirmary at Camp Half-Blood, with both parents and Rivaden beside me. Chiron came and told me that my eyes will always have flecks of silver now. Rivaden told me that I passed out right before I was taken to camp.
I asked if I will still turn into the serpent, and I was told that it will only happen if I want to. I told him that it would be great to use as a disguise, if I ever need it. My parents left and some of my friends came to visit me. It was nice to be surrounded by my friends after the awful experience I had. I vowed that I would never talk about what happened for the rest of my life.
