Explosion!

One day, Affiria and Coral were having a good day training and not fighting. During free time, they hung out with the guys that they liked, Peter and Rickie.

Coral took Rickie to the lake and they both jumped in. Coral made it so that Rickie could breathe under water and they swam almost to the bottom.

" Coral, where are we going? " Asked Rickie. " We are going to my mother's palace. I want to see if she is there. " Said Coral.

When they got to the palace, Coral went up to the guard and asked if her mother was there, but the guard told her that her mother was on Mount Olympus taking care of business.

So they both returned to the surface of the lake. " Where were you Coral? I have been looking for you everywhere. Chiron has an announcement to make and he wants you there. " Said Affiria as she came to a halted stop at the edge of the lake out of breath from running.

Coral rolled her eyes and followed Affiria to the big house. Chiron said that they were going to have a talent show two nights in a row. The first night, Coral and Affiria will be sword fighting, and the next night, they will be using their fire and water powers.

After the announcement, everyone split up to practice for the show. Coral went to the training center under her cabin to practice her sword fighting, when she was joined by Affiria and Chiron.

They talked about the talent show and then Affiria turned in to a leapord. Coral then turned in to the serpent. They started practice fighting (without claws, of course).

Chiron shouted encouraging words and they practiced for an hour slashing and hissing at each other. Coral was sliced a couple of times, and so was Affiria. But when they returned to their human forms, there were no wounds on them. Chiron final told them to stop. By the time they finished and were back in their human forms, they were both out of breath.

Later that night, they had the talent show and the two girls did their sword fighting, and they did really well. Neither one of them were wounded.

The next day, they had the last part of the talent show. It started well, but when they threw their fire and water at each other, something strange happened. Instead of the fire ball hitting Coral, they were knocked off their feet and landed away from each other. They got up and tried again, but the same thing happened again.

Coral was knocked out, and didn't move. There were burns on her arms and legs. Affiria was laying a few feet away. When she saw Coral laying on the ground unmoving, she ran over to Coral calling her name and shaking her trying to get Coral to move.

She called for Chiron, and all of the other children came running to see what had happened to Coral. Chiron told some of the other kids to take Coral to the infirmary. So, the other kids moved Coral to the infirmary to heal her and see if she would wake up.
