Jason's POV

Ames finally asked me about how I even got here in the first place.
So I laid it all out on the table as they say.
After I saw you leaving it tore my heart in two.
I fill down on my knees in tears.
I couldn't believe I let my angel get away from me.
When I came down to the coal mine to check on you, and apologize, you weren't there.
I felt like I was going to be sick.
I found the keys to the lock of the shackles laying on the bed.
I heard the noise of Tommy Jarvis truck, I rushed up to catch up to you.
But you were already gone.
I went back to my cabin and saw your dog Jacob.
He was looking for you, I followed him.
He led me to your duffle bag.
I found your laptop, I seen the messages between you and your cousin.
I really felt bad then, I thought you just wanted drugs.
I didn't realize how bad it was for you.
So I grabbed Jacob's leash and walked to the bus station.
Your bus was just pulling out.
So I had to wait for four hours to catch the next one out.
They thought Jacob was my service dog.
After I got here, I got a taxi to bring me here.
Luckily I had something of yours with your address on it.

Ames POV
He trailed off, my mouth hung open as I listened to him relay the story to me.
Oh Jason I'm so sorry I put you through that heartache.
I was in a panic because my meds were going to run out.
When I panic I don't think straight.
I completely forgot about my dog!
I never knew how my leaving would effect you.
I'm so sorry Jason, I.....
He cut me off with a kiss, I'm just glad I found you.

I'm glad you found your way here to me too.
We spent that night in each other's arms.
