I held Jason close to me while he cried.
It broke my heart to think that he thought that's what's going to happen.
I love him, he's my world, along with Pam our child.
I rubbed his back trying to soothe him.
Honey it was just a dream, I'd never leave you or hate you.
I looked into his sad tear stained eyes.
I kissed him with every fiber in me.
I had to get him to realize it was just a nightmare and nothing more.
I wiped the tears from his cheeks.
Jason please believe me !
I whispered/ yelled, finally he started to settle down.
I sighed in relief, thank God I thought to myself.
I rested my chin on the top of his head.
Everything is going to be alright.
We sat there like that for a short time until we heard the baby monitor go off.
