Tilting my head to the side slightly, I watched Ronnie. She wasn't scared or nervous at all. She looked quite content. "Are you alright?" I asked. She looked up with her bright green eyes and actually smiled. "I'm great. I don't have to go home do I?" I was quite taken aback. This was unusual for our line of work.

Ronnie suddenly asked me, "Who's Marv?" I looked at her and took a moment to answer. "Oh he's...he's the one who brought you here." "The dude with the purple eyes?" I nodded. "They're grey actually." She blinked and gave me a blank stare. "What?" I asked. "Do I get to stay here?" I shrugged and replied; "That depends on Jin."

I turned my head as I heard the door open and looked to see Marv come in. "She awake?" He was looking at his phone as he asked so I cleared my throat. He looked up and made eye contact with me before looking at Ronnie. "I guess so. You alright?" Ronnie nodded then opened her mouth. Marv raised a finger and she closed it as he put his phone to his ear. "Hey Jin. Yeah I just brought her in. Look, I didn't stay with her Jay did. Because you gave me all that damn paperwork! Yeah yeah yeah. Hold on a sec." Marv looked at me, quite aggravated. "He wants to talk to you." I caught his phone and put it to my ear. "Hello?"

"Is she alright? She needs to be or she won't be able to be tested." I faced Marv, puzzled, as I answered Jin. "Yeah she's fine. Tested for what, exactly?" I watched Marv as something clicked in his head and he whispered, "Shit."
