Chapter 6

I woke up the next morning sore.

My back hurt, my butt hurt, my face hurt, my stomach hurt, my head hurt.

Everything hurts.

And I almost scared myself looking in the mirror. My eye and cheek was adorned with the colors of blue and black. I groaned, I guess I have to put makeup on.

It took awhile, but I was finally done with trying to hide the bruises. You could only see them if you were really close. I quickly changed my clothes and made my way back to school.

I was about five minutes away from school, when someone called me. "Violet!" A guy shouted. "Violet!"

I turned around to be met face to face with, Andy. "Hey." He smiled.

"Uh, hi."

"Listen about yesterday." He grabbed hand lightly.

"Please, don't say anything to anyone." Tears shined my eyes, I was so close to crying.

"I-I won't, but-" he frowned, and leaned closer to my face. He grabbed my cheek and turned it to the left a little. "What happened to your face?"

"N-nothing." I stuttered. I pulled away from him, but his grip tightened around my hand.

"What happened?" He asked. "Did someone hit you?"

"No." I replied quickly. "Leave me alone, please."

"Tell me." He demanded.

"Nothing is wrong-" he cut me off, turning around, and started walking -dragging me along with him.

"Where are we going?" I asked him, catching up to him -which was hard, considering I had short legs and he had long ones.

"We're skipping school." He shrugged.

"What?! Why?"

"We just are." He opened a door to a car, and lightly pushed me inside it, closing it when I was safely in.

"Where are we going? Are you kidnapping me?" I asked worriedly.

"What?" He chuckled. "No, I just want to take you somewhere fun."

"Why?" I asked.

He shrugged. "Because."

"Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise." He told me. "Lay back in the seat, it's gonna take a while to get there."

"Violet," Someone shook my shoulder. "Violet, we're here."

"Hmm?" I squinted. "What?"

Someone chuckled at me. My eyes widened when I finally realized, that I was not in my bed, but in a car, with Andy.

"Where are we?" I asked, yawning.

"Right now, in a parking lot." He said. "Disney's parking lot to be exact."

"What?!" I exclaimed happily. "Disney?" I couldn't help the smile growing on my lips. "Really?"

He chuckled, "Yeah, come on."
