"Natasha, you look stunning!" Jane exclaimed while clapping her hands together, "I wonder when it'll be my turn!"

"Drop a hint to Thor if you wanna get married." Darcy answered skeptically, adjusting the diamond studded bracelet around her wrist.

The bridesmaids (Natasha was unable to choose between all of her friends without disappointing anyone so she settled for all of them), were gathered in the dressing room at the back of the chapel, preparing Natasha and fawning over her custom-made wedding gown that so perfectly accentuated her curves in all the right places while bestowing her with an ethereal, angelic look.

Her red hair was braided and fitted into a bun, with loose curls framing her face. Her makeup was light, with only a tint of pink on her lips, she had requested this, for Clint had always preferred her natural beauty.

A simple diamond necklace rested peacefully by her collarbone, its studded gems sparkling under the lights of the room and the sunlight streaming through the window.

Natasha smiled into the mirror, and holding the edges of her dress, spun around to admire the dazzling white cloth twirl around her.

She was bursting with excitement, much more than nervousness, that she was going to see her fiancé and be wedded to him in just a few minutes time.

---------------------------------------------

Clint adjusted his grey suit and made sure the peach rose stuck into his buttonhole stayed in place.

He placed his hands together in front of him, one on top of the other, and stood very still by the altar watching the guests stream in and fill up the pews.

Steve, the best man, was grinning at him from his side, amused by Clint's nervousness.

"Hey buddy, why are you so nervous? It's not like you've never seen Natasha before."

"That's precisely why. I've seen her in her most beautiful state yet, but I'm sure she's gonna blow my mind away today and I'm just not ready to have a heart attack on my wedding day." Clint joked, and Steve responded with a laugh.

Clint was brimming with excitement. Today was the day he would officially make the woman he loves his. His to love, his to care, his to protect, forever and ever till the day he dies. And while he was joking earlier on, he was in actual fact nervous (in a good way) to see Natasha totally exceed his expectations and leave him speechless.

Finally, the marriage officiant announced for the guests to be seated and Here comes the bride began playing, turning Clint's focus to the door at the end of the aisle.

The wooden doors pushed open and the bridesmaids began their walk.

Tony was sitting at the front few pews and tried to whistle when Pepper walked past but Bruce elbowed him on time to prevent him from spoiling the mood.

Clint almost tiptoed and bent his back to see past the bridesmaids at his bride but managed to remind himself to keep his impatience in check.

Finally, Natasha emerged into his view on her father's arm. And one could say Clint's breath had been stolen away for just a moment.

As she approached and left her father to stand next to him, Clint had this boyish smile on his face, with a tad bit of shyness as if he couldn't believe he was standing beside his high school crush in the queue at lunch break.

Natasha glanced up at him through her veil and her sparkling emeralds told him she felt the same.

Under the command of the marriage officiant, the couple said their vows, the 'I do's spoken and rings slipped onto each other's fingers with evident excitement.

Before he lifted her veil, Clint began a short heartfelt speech.

"Remember the plastic rose, Sweetheart? I promise to be your plastic rose. I'll always be there, even when the others leave. My love won't diminish or fade, just like the red of the petals. I hope to cheer you up, just like whenever you pick it up a smile - the most beautiful one I've ever seen, forms on your beautiful face. And you don't have to give me anything, I don't need water or fertilizer, I just need you to allow me to love you."

At this, a chorus of 'awws' came from the guests, and a few ladies - Natasha's mother, wiped a tear with a tissue.

Natasha's eyes sparkled even more, with the sheath of happy tears over them. Natasha hadn't prepared a speech like Clint, but she realised she didn't need one, for her love for him just couldn't be expressed in words.

With that, she smiled radiantly for him, signaling him to lift her veil.

And after he did, Clint gently cupped her face with one hand while the other interlocked with hers, and leaned forward for the most meaningful kiss yet.

Thundering applause rang out around the chapel as family and friends stood up with sincere happiness for the newlyweds.

As the guest proceeded to the front lawn for refreshments, an upbeat song blasted through the speakers around, surprising Natasha.

"This song is for you and for everyone else too, Sweetheart." His fingers grazed her chin.

She been my queen
Since we were sixteen (actually it's since elementary school)
We want the same things
We dream the same dreams
Alright

At this, the youngsters began to dance and sing to the music.

I got it all
'Cause she is the one
Her mom calls me 'love'
Her dad calls me 'son'
Alright

I know, I know, I know for sure

Everybody wanna steal my girl
Everybody wanna take her heart away
Couple billion in the whole wide world
Find another one 'cause she belongs to me

Kisses like cream
Her walk is so mean
And every jaw drop
When she's in those jeans
Alright

I don't exist
If I don't have her
The sun doesn't shine
The world doesn't turn
Alright

She knows, she knows
That I've never let her down before (actually I have, once, but I promise never to do it again)
She knows, she knows
That I'm never gonna let another take her love from me now

Everybody wanna steal my girl
Everybody wanna take her heart away
Couple billion in the whole wide world
Find another one 'cause she belongs to me

"She belongs to me." Clint sang the last line.

Did anyone notice I deliberately had Natasha's parents call Clint 'love' and 'son' in the previous book to fit the song?🌚
