Clint and Natasha decided to take Lucky for a walk on Saturday morning and have a picnic as well.

It had been a long time since they last took morning walks, most of the time they were really tired from the week of work and preferred to stay in bed till mid-morning.

Hand-in-hand, and with Lucky's leash in one of Clint's hands, the couple strolled into Central Park.

They walked along the pavement and stopped when they reached a grassy field that was perfect for a picnic.

Clint lay down the mat that they brought while Natasha threw the dog toy for Lucky to play fetch.

Thereafter, they sat down on the mat and laughed while watching Lucky pick up the dog toy using his teeth and make his way back to them.

As Lucky settled at a corner of the mat for a rest, Natasha rested her head on Clint's shoulder and they both stared off into the distance.

"I remember that time we blew bubbles and watched the clouds while we were here. It seemed like yesterday." Natasha sighed softly.

"Time sure passes really fast. We're married now, can you believe it?" Clint chuckled, hand caressing Natasha's cheek.

"No I can't, because you still act like a hormonal teenager." Natasha giggled, and Clint exclaimed dramatically, "Really? And I thought you act like a shy girl around her crush in high school." Clint retorted playfully, pinching Natasha's nose.

Natasha turned and wrapped her arms around Clint's neck while he snaked his around her waist. They rested their foreheads against each other's while their noses brushed.

"Oh, didn't think I'd see you both here." A female voice said from behind them.

Clint and Natasha turned around and came face to face with Bobbi, dressed in exercise attire and was currently removing one of her ear phones from her ear.

"Hi Bobbi." Natasha greeted politely and Clint nodded his head in acknowledgement.

It was awkward between them. Natasha knew Bobbi liked Clint, so to ease the tension a little, she shifted to move out of Clint's arms.

But Clint didn't allow her to. He caught her and pulled her backwards till she was practically in his lap.

Clint felt that they didn't need to make concessions for Bobbi. They were married and they had every right to act like any other married couple would. What's more, he wanted Bobbi to remember that and not try to break them up again.

"The weather's good for some workout huh." Clint casually commented, then placed a kiss on Natasha's temple.

Seeing that she wasn't going to achieve anything by standing there, Bobbi said goodbye and continued on her jog.

"You didn't have to do that, Clint." Natasha frowned, "You know she likes you..."

"Yeah, and I'm just letting her know that I love you, in case she couldn't see the obvious." Clint made a show of his puppy eyes to prove his point and Natasha couldn't help but giggle.

Yes, he loves her, and she was glad.

"I remember that other time when I came here for a walk with Lucky, I saw you and Laura together. I was heartbroken." Natasha revealed.

This was new information to Clint. He didn't know Natasha had been there that day.

Before Clint could open his mouth to say anything or even apologize, Natasha started, "But that was in the past, it doesn't matter now, I know you love me because you just told me so." She smiled and held Clint's face in her hands.

"Shall we watch the clouds?" Clint offered and Natasha enthusiastically nodded.

And so they lay down on the mat, Natasha's head on Clint's arm, and started talking about what the clouds resembled.

Lucky stood up and padded over to Natasha's side, where he lay down and snuggled into her.

The day brought with it opportunities for spending time with loved ones and the exchange of sweet nothings.

It was indeed a lucky day.
