They were back in Georgia and Daryl hated it. He wasn't doing very good in the job department and Madison was about to have a nervous breakdown. Luckily, her parents have been helping them out.

Madison had faith in Daryl that he would find another job, but her faith was slowly dwindling as the weeks without one got longer. Madison was doing her best to stay strong and keep doing side jobs, but with all the work she was doing and all her homework, she was pretty much busy all the time and didn't have a moment to spare.

Christmas was in two weeks and Madison's parents invited her up to see them again. Daryl wanted to go because he loved it up there so much, but he didn't want to go if he didn't have gifts to give out. He didn't want to look like worthless piece of shit, because lately, that's how he's been feeling.

Madison came home from working all morning, and going to an afternoon class. Her finals were soon and she had to find time to study for them. Daryl was trying to find some work too. Luckily, William down at the shop could afford to give him a few days of work while Dennis was out sick. Daryl silently prayed Dennis would stay sick longer that way he could keep working.

That evening Madison was making dinner in the kitchen while Daryl rested on the couch. They both hated how they never had any time together anymore. Daryl was always working, and so was Madison. And when they both weren't working, Madison was at school or studying. Daryl missed their connection, and he really missed the intimacy.

"Daryl, dinners done!" She called from the kitchen. Daryl sat up on the couch and rubbed his eyes, before standing up and walking to the kitchen. He found Madison standing at the stove in her pajama pants and one of his t-shirts. She looked adorable and he couldn't wait to get his hands on her. He would love to rip all those clothes right off her, right now. But, he didn't, and sat down at the table.

Like always, Madison served him his plate before getting hers and sitting down. Daryl didn't like that she was sitting so far away, so he grabbed her chair and pulled it towards him, then picked up her legs and lay them across his lap. Madison blushed and resumed eating. She watched Daryl out of the corner of her eye and saw him lick his lips at her and eye her up and down. When she finished her meal, she got up and took their plates to the sink. Madison turned around to see Daryl still sitting at the table, his leg bouncing up and down. He was still hungry, but it wasn't for food. It was for her.

Daryl was afraid to make the first move and scare her, so he stood up and went to the living room. Madison thought that Daryl was going to ravage her tonight just from his looks, but she was disappointed when she seen him get up and walk back to the living room.

Madison really needed someone to talk to, so she picked up her cell phone and went to the bedroom to call her mother.

"Hello?"

"Hey, mom. It's me."

"Mads! How are you? Everything alright?" She asked.

Daryl got up from the living room and headed towards the bedroom, but stopped when he heard talking.

"I guess, I mean. Things aren't exactly cheerful."

Was she talking about him?

"Daryl and I... Like... He's been distant from me. We barely talk anymore, he doesn't show me any affection if you know what I mean."

Shit! He really fucked up. She was unsatisfied with their relationship and Daryl was about to start bawling.

"I love him. I do. I just want some more time to talk you know, more time for us."
