[ Veronica's POV ]
After Jacob and I watched the waves we decided to go get some ice cream
"Mannn the beach is so beautiful at night." I said, still in awe.
"I know right!"Jacob said while paying attention to the road. "We're here!" He exclaimed.
We got out of the car and walked to the door of the ice cream shop. I stopped and stepped back to look at the name.
"Creamy Ice? Wooowwww that's SOO creative. Hint the sarcasm." I said as we both laughed as walked through the door. Jacob stopped laughing and froze he hid in a booth next to the door. I went over there with him and sat across from him.
"What the heck Jacob? Why are you hiding?"
"You see that girl behind the counter??" He said. I turned around . I'm guessing the girl worked here because she had the Baby pink and blue uniform on. Her hair was brown with blonde highlights and it was straight. ( A little pass her shoulders.) She looked mixed but overall she was GAWJUSSSS!!
"Omfg Jacob she is so pretty! Why are you hiding from her??" I asked.
"I've had a crush on her since the 6th grade. She goes to our school." He whispered loud enough for me to hear him. "Plus I get nervous around pretty girls like her." He said.
"Well dang... I must be ugly as crap!" I said. We both laughed then I looked at him and smirked.
"C'mon." I said as I got up and went to the side he was sitting on.
"Where are we g-" I cut him off . I pulled him up by his collar out of the seat and lead him to the counter.
"Hey what would you like to order today?" The girl said. I looked at her name tag. 'Alexis' .
"Can I get a chocolate-vanilla swirl with gummy bears on it?" I smiled a polite smile.
"Sure thing! Andddddd for you?" She said referring to Jacob . She looked up.
"U-u-um c-can I-I get-" I cut him off.
"he'll have the same thing" I said.
"Okay that'll be $5.50 your ice cream will be ready in a minute ." she said.
"Thanks."
Jacob and I turned around to sit back down. But he was in front of me so I turned around to go talk to Alexis . I looked back and he gave me a 'what-the-fuck-are-you-doing?!' Look . I just smirked.
"Umm Alexis?" I said. She looked up from the ice cream maker thingy.
"Yes?"
"Lets have a girl talk real quick."
"I have to make y'all ice cream so hold up" I nodded. Then like 3 minutes later she handed me my ice cream and Jacob's I walked to the table and gave him his.
"Raven! Are you out of your mind?!" He whispered/yelled.
"Trust me." I said then walked back to Alexis .
"Ok um Alexis here's the thing. You see my friend over there?" I said as I pointed to Jacob.
"Yea. Wait friend? I thought y'all were boyfriend and girlfriend." I scrunched up my face at her.
"Ew no. Well not that he's not cute or anything but yea anyways , he told me that he's had a crush on you since 6th grade."
"Really?! That's so cute! Is that why he was so nervous to tell me his order?"
"Yes he said that he gets nervous around pretty girls like you." I said. She smiled.
"I'm about to go talk to him. My shift is over anyways." She said as she slid over the counter and went to the table Jacob was sitting in. He looked at me and I have him a thumbs up.
30 minutes went by and they were still talking . It's like 10 something .
"Um Jacob?" He didn't answer me.
"Jacob." He didn't answer me again.
I just walked out the door and started walking home. My house wasn't too far from here.
It was cold so I crossed my arms and looked down as I walked . Then I heard footsteps behind me....
"Who's there?" I yelled as I turned around... No one was behind me.
I sped my pace up a little.
I heard the rustling of the bushes next to me.
I started running so fast I didn't stop until I reached my front door. I unlocked it, went in, and locked it back. I heard moaning upstairs indicating that Amber and Craig were up there doing the do. I just got a blanket out of the closet in the downstairs hallway , took my dress off , and laid on the couch. No I wasn't naked . I had my half bra and boy shorts on. I dozed off .. but that didnt do anything but lead me into a nightmare.
