RECAP :
Raven was running at 10 PM doing her late night run listening to her music. When she crossed the street to head to the park, she saw a big truck coming for her and everything went black.
[ Raven's POV ] 12:30 AM.
Where tf am I? I smell the sweet aroma of macaroni and cheese. I slowly opened my eyes.
" Hey, you're up? Finally!!" A familiar voice said.
"uh who are you?" I replied. I can't really see the person because my eyes won't adjust.
"It's me Jacob. I'm the kid that's in like all of your classes but I'm quiet..like you.." He replied
"Ohh yes! You're the kid with the Afro! The one that I bumped into running after Rayquan. Aaaand your the one who i tripped up in class by mistake. Sorry for that" I tried to get up. " OUCH WTF!!!"
"No no no , You need to lay down." He said as he pushed me down gently.
"What happened?" I asked very curiously. Then I touched my head. "OUCH"
" You were running two hours ago an-"I cut him off. Like what ? TWO HOURS AGO!
" TWO HOURS AGO?!?" I said as I sat up, feeling the pain in my head I screeched.
"Let me explain" he laughed. " I saw you running because we run the same route . I'm not a stalker so hush . anyways when you were about to cross the street a HUGE truck was coming your way. Then you froze . I ran as quickly as I could and tackled you on the sidewalk . I couldn't just push you because then I would've gotten hit . So we both fell and you passed out. For 2 hours. You have a mild concussion from the fall but all you have to do is lay down" he explained.
"Ohhh my gosh thankyou!" I said as I hugged him. Well actually I stayed laid down, I just held my arms up like a little kid and he gave me a hug.
"No problem. Hey my mom's downstairs cooking for us. Ill tell you when the food is ready." He said as I tried to leave but I quickly stopped him.
"No! Stay up here with me! Lets watch a movie until then." I pleaded. I was in a big ass room. It was so big that I was kinda scared! Plus I don't really know this Afro kid like that but if he's nice enough to save my life then he's cool.
"Eh okay!" He said as he put in The Purge and sat on the bed alongside of me.
I decided to text Amber! I KNOW she's worried sick.

Ambyyy : Oh girl! I thought you came in. I was so busy with my baby Craig I didn't even notice. That kid Rayquan's girlfriend left because it was getting late. He stayed here tho he went upstairs with y'all little baby project 😘

I put the pillow up against the headboard so I can sit up a little. Jacob is kinda cute tho. His hair is so FLUFFFAAAY. He looks kinda shy? He's sitting all the way on the edge of this queen-sized bed .
"Jacob, I don't bite, you can come up here. This IS your room" I said as we both laughed then he sat up against the headboard as we watched the movie.
"Guys dinner is ready!!" His mom said as she entered the room. We went downstairs and the smell hit me like bricks! It smelled so good!!!! She cooked Mac and Cheese with Fried chicken and broccoli&cheese. That was THE BEST Macaroni I've ever tasted!!
"Mmmm, That was some GOOD food Mrs.-" I said as I finished my plate . Waiting for her to tell me her name .
"Thanks sweety. You can call me Ms. Teresa" She said as she rolled the "r" and smiled.
"Oops! I forgot you alls dessert!" She said.
She went in the kitchen and came back with a chocolate fudge cake with vanilla icecream on the top complimented with chocolate fudge. My mouth was open like :O. It tasted SOOOOO. GOD.
( 10 minutes later )
After we devoured the cake I began to get sleepy.
"I guess I'll be going home now. I'm getting kind of tired. Thanks for saving my life Jacob! And thanks for the AMAZING cooking Mrs.Teresa"
"Nonsense child. It's about to be 1 AM. Your house is probably a long way from here. Plus you didn't have a car. You can stay here for the night and Jacob will use his car to drive you home in the morning" Mrs. Teresa said and smiled. I nodded and Jacob and I went to his room. He closed the door behind us. He started putting blankets on the floor and he got one of the pillows off of his bed and put it down there as well then he laid on the floor. I looked at him with a confused face.
"Goodnight" he said as he laid down.
"Woah woah woah. Jacob. No. Why are you on the floor?" I said as I held the ice pack to my head.
"Well, I am not going to let you sleep on the floor you're too pretty for all that.. I mean uh uh uh I'm not gonna let you sleep on the floor" he said as he studdered and blushed.
I blushed and smiled . He thinks I'm pretty? Wait no feelings Raven. no feelings.
"It's okay Jacob I wouldn't mi-"he cut me off.
"no. It's not okay haha" he said as he laughed.
" Okay, you can sleep up here with me! Not like that! But on the other side of the bed" I said. I mean like I'm not about to take over his bed in his own house. I don't know that's just me.
"Okay" he said as he grabbed the pillow off the floor, cut off the lights and got on the other side of the bed.
"Goodnight, boss lady" he said. We both laughed.
"Goodnight shy man" I replied. I texted amber and said 'spending the night ttyl' I knew she would blow my phone up allll night with emojis telling me to give her details so I put my phone on airplane mode and drifted off into a deep sleep.
