Craig's House

Craig and I were cuddled up on his couch watching Tv.

I looked at Craig.
"Ummm? It's 10 sum at night, you got ANOTHER bitch comin' over?" I yelled as I got out of Craig's embrace. He smacked his lips.
"Let another bitch be at this door." I said highly aggravated.
"Who is it?" I said as I swung the door open. I looked up and almost choked.
"R-Rayan?" I said. I backed up away from the door as he stepped into Craig's house.
"You invited another nigga to MY house?" Craig yelled as he hopped up from the couch.
"N-no..remember when I told you about Raven's late boyfriend & my bestfriend? Well th-this is him." I said as I stumbled over my words.
"You see him too??" I asked Craig making sure I wasn't seeing a ghost.
"Yes.." Was all Craig said before I broke down and started crying. 3 years?!? 3 years ago I was 14, he was dead.Now I'm 17, and he's alive?!?!? This doesn't add up!!!! I feel like I was lied to m whole life. What the fuck is going on?!? I put my knees to my chest and started rocking back and forth, bawling my eyes out.
( Rayan's POV )
You guys must think I'm the bad guy, huh?
"Amber.. I'm so sorry. Just let me explain.." I said as Craig helped her onto the couch and wiped her tears.
"You got it from here?" He asked.
"Yeah, thanks bro." I said as I dapped him up and he disappeared into another room.
"Bambi?" I said. That was a nickname I made for her as a kid. She picked her head up and looked at me. Her eyes were so puffy and red. She opened her mouth to speak but instead she smothered me in a bear hug as she cried on my shoulder. I let one tear escape my eyes.
"You liar! How could you?! How could you do that to Raven?!? How could you let her become so depressed that we both had to move away from home to get a fresh start?!?" She yelled in my face as she pushed me off of her and started punching me in the chest. I grabbed her wrist, causing her to squirm to get free.
"Let me explain Bambi!!!!!!!" I yelled causing her to stop squirming. I let her go. She nodded , meaning I can explain.
I sighed ...
"Ok this is what happened..."
F L A S H B A C K : 3 years ago.
I was leaving Raven's house to get her present when my uncle's black lambo pulled up. He was a 52 year old owner of a drug dealing crew.
"You ready to make your first drop?"He asked. I TOTALLY forgot about this.
He taught me how to make and sell the drugs. I was always scared to be around him and his buddies because they would always say things like 'If you don't do this drop right, we'll kill your girlfriend and her family.' . Anyways , as we were driving, I saw a gas truck going the opposite way as us.I sighed and thought about what I was about to do. 'Its now or never' I thought. I grabbed the wheel and turned it, making us swerve into the gas truck. The airbag smashed into my face. Luckily, my uncle's airbag didn't come out in time. He flew through the windshield. I had at least 5.2 seconds to get out of the car before everything blew up. I unbuckled my seat belt, ignoring the pain coming from my head, and sprinted into the nearby woods. I heard a big BOOM causing me to turn around. The gas truck, along with my uncle's car, blew up. I sighed in relief. 5 minutes later I was almost at Raven's house. When I reached her house, I was about to knock until I saw a police car heading my way. I ducked down in the nearby bushes as the policemen knocked on Raven's door.
"Ma'am there's no easy way for me to say this but-" she cut them off.
"I-I already know.. A policeman already calle-d-d me." She said through tears.
"I'm sorry for your loss." Was the last thing the policeman said before she closed the door.
They think I'm DEAD?!?!? What the hell?!?!? ... I started to walk back home. I had to think about what just happened.It got darker and darker and my house seemed to get further and further . As I was walking I heard a car roll up behind me.
"Aye is that TeeBone's nephew?!?" I heard a man shout.
"HELL YEAH! I thought he was dead!!! Get him!!!" One yelled. Then I heard the opening of car doors. I started to run as fast as I could. I ended up tripping over my own to feet. I was then jumped by the 5 men.
"When your punk ass was a baby, your uncle said if he died, he'd turn over the business to you. But that shit ain't gone happen. IM RUNNING THIS. You better disappear or I'll kill your precious little girlfriend hahaha." One of the men said as he stomped my face in one last time before walking away.

Amber was in tears. Her caramel skin was so red. I turned away from her and cried.
"I-I was only acting as if I was dead to save her. I-I never meant to hurt her." I said through tears. I sniffed and wiped my face.
"W-Well you did.. Too late now . There's a new guy at our school and he likes her. They'd be really cute together. You had your chance." She said as her crying died down.
"IM 'Rayquan'" I said putting air quotes around 'Rayquan'."One day while I was in hiding, I logged onto Instagram. As I scrolled down my little news feed I saw a picture of Raven. I haven't been on Instagram since that incident so I was surprised that she still had hers. I clicked on her page and she had where she went to school at and where she lived in her bio. I just HAD to come see her, but I couldn't approach her as 'Rayan' so I took on a different approach." I explained as Amber gasped, taking everything in.
"You have to tell her...." She said.
