"Wait is it because he's dating Lacy," Can asked looking at me. "Just forget about it Cam. I'm moving on from Nash. It's just gonna take time," I said. Cam was about to say something when I got a call. "It's JJ. I'm gonna take this," I smiled heading out of my room. As soon as I closed my bedroom door I answered the phone. "Hey JJ," I smiled. "Uh hey Mya," he said. "Is everything ok," I asked worriedly. "Umm yeah everything is fine," he said. "You don't seem fine." "Come on Johnson just ask her," I heard Gilinsky say in the background. "I'm scared she is gonna reject me. Look at me she'd never go for a guy like me," I heard JJ say. "Hey JJ?" "Umm yeah," he mumbled. "Do you want to maybe go on a date," I asked. "Hey I'm suppose to ask that," I heard him laugh. "I know. That's why I asked first," I smiled. "So will you go on a date with me," JJ asked seriously. "I would love too." "Tomorrow? At 5 if your not busy," he asked. "I'm free. Pick me up after work," I asked. "Are you gonna be stubborn?" "No," I laughed. "Good. See you tomorrow," he said. "Bye JJ." "Bye Mya," he said before hanging up. I took a deep breath and just let myself smile. Cause I have a date with a good guy. Sure he's not Nash but cool. I walked back into my room and saw Cam just sitting on my bed. "You'll never guess what happened," I smiled. "What," Cam asked smiling back. "JJ asked me out. Well I did. But he did," I laughed running a hand through my hair. "That's great Mya," Can smiled getting off my bed," But I have to go." "Ok," I said confused. He didn't even say goodbye. He just left. He's been acting kind of weird lately. I wonder what's up with him?
