"God how do I ask you this," I said running my hand through my hair. "Mya just ask me," Nash laughed. I bit my lip and then said it. "Do you like me? Cause I went to check on you last night and you where dreaming and saying things out loud. But I kind of just wanted to ask you about it first," I said nervously. "Ummm...I," Nash said trying to say something but nothing did come out. He just shook his head and walked away.
-A week later-
Things have been awkward between me and Nash lately. It's like I've completely lost my best friend. The thing that scares me the most in life. "Hey you ok," Cam asked walking into my room. I quickly stopped crying and brushed the tears away putting on a smile. "Yep. I'm fine. Just tired," I yawned. Cam shut the door and took a seat on my bed and opened his arms. My eyes went back and forth from his face to his arms and then I just collapsed in his arms and started to cry more. "What happened," he asked. I told him everything that happened and he looked down at me. "Maybe you just took him by surprise," Cameron said. "Yeah," I sniffled shaking my head. My phone started to ring. The caller id said mom. "I'm gonna take this," I sadly smiled walking outside. "Hey mom," I said answering the phone once I got outside. "Sweetie," she said her voice sounding sad. "Mom," I questioned. "Mya. It's your uh," she took a sad sigh and started to cry. "Mom what's wrong?" "It's your father honey. The cops found him this morning under a bridge. He's gone," she cried. I was trying to hold in the tears but I just couldn't. I hung up the phone and ran inside. The first person I spotted was Nash. I just ran into his arms and let the tears out. He was shocked at first but he wrapped his arms around me and started rocking us back and forth. "Mya what happened?"
