Through his droopy eyelids, in his hazy veiw, Trey looked out upon a cage of metal. He didn't know what happened that got him here, or how he even managed to get here in the first place, but he tried to focus more on waking up than anything else. He was laying doubled over inside of his metalic prison, and waking up semmed to get his body working more efficiently.
After allowing his sight to be fully retained, he stood up. While his head was foggy, he could at least understand the situation: He was in the cell block of a prison. But odd senses told him otherwise that he wasn't inside a prison, but rather a factory. Whirring was audible frome almost every angle, accompanied by the clanks and clashes of metal against metal, and a strong odor of miscelaious oils overflowed what little room his cell held.
Trey: Oh no. Prison? Come on! I just want to have a normal adventure without something like this!
Trying to look around, he noticed a heavy, pulling sensation coming from his back. Looking around as best he could, he noticed his wings were covered in a thick metal and chained together, almost as a brace.
Trey: Damn, looks like reality's coming together.
Realizing there was no voice accompanying his speech, he looked around the room again, only to find no sign of Kuro or Vaati. He wanted to call out to them, but he couldn't even tell if they were nearby or not. Looking towards the supposed front of the cell, he noticed there was only a glass pane, likely no more than a centimeter thick, enclosing the room.
Trey: That.... is what you call defence? Please.
Ready to smash the glass pane, he dashed towards it and flung his body onto it with his elbow pointed towards the center. But instead of Trey breaking through, he shouted in pain as an electrical force sent him flying back against the back wall.
Trey: Ack! Ow! Jeeze, that hurts!
???: I was gonna warn you, but I wanted to see what you'd actually do.
Hearing a voice, he jerked his head to the right, and saw a short, green, square-headed, tight-wearing person lounging up aginst the wall. His head seemed more like a hat, and only his eyes showed through. An antena with a pink ball at the end poked out at the top of his head, as well as his hands seeming to be this similar ball as well.
???: 'Sup?
Trey: Uh.... hi. Were you-
???: Here the whole time? Yea, pretty much. Though I do remember when I was ever not in this room. I mopped the downstairs corridor last week, I walked along a bar in the generator room, I made a....
The man kept on talking, never really seeming to slow down his speech. Trey found it rather odd how the man could speak with no mouth, but, after observing his body even more, Trey concluded that this was no man, but rather a robot.
???: ...She was such a nice lady, let me tell you.
Trey: That's nice and all, but you're telling me you've been around this place before, right?
???: Yea, pretty much. I could tell you more abou-
Trey: Can you tell me how to get out of here?
???: You want to escape? HAHAHAHAHAhah.......
Trey: ........
???: Oh, you're serious. Well, sorry. If I knew the answer, I'd tell you. But I was born in this factory thingamabob, and I've NEEEEVER been out of it. Is there even an outside? I don't know. There probably is one due to how many people come in here all the time. Not HERE here, but in this place. Wait, does that make sense? I don't know. Probably should...
Trey sits back against the wall, and lowers his head to his knees as he whispers to himself.
Trey: If I don't get out of here soon, I might just have to punch that guys circuts in. Maybe he'll stop talking then.
???: Oh, I forgot to tell you. My name's Vinebomb! Yours?
Vinebomb thrusts out his arm to give a handshake. Trey looks up at Vinebomb and, while shaking his hand, responds.
Trey: Trey.
Vinebomb: Oh, thats a nice name. It gives me an idea about...
Trey: Whispers Your name gives ME an idea of how to deal with you.
