The Fallen....Rise

Adrian and Kaden were taken as prisoners in the Sun Wolfe tribe and were being taken to the main hall.

"What now?" Kaden asked.

"We-" Adrian began to say.

"Quiet!" The Sun Wolfe they encountered earlier that day barked at them. "You've come to OUR village, and for that...you shall receive DEATH!"

"No..." Kaden muttered. "Snow...I'm sorry."

As they were brought into the main but of the village, Adrian and Kaden saw a wolf that had red fur like the other Sun Wolves, but this wolf had yellow stripes coming from under her eyes. A sign of high honor.

"Allison." The high wolf said to the Sun wolf that had encounter Kaden and Adrian earlier. "Why have you brought these Gale tribe prisoners? Our attacks should be breaking their borders as we speak. Given that commander Cesar made it to the village with your team."

Allison looked away in shame.

"Why do your head?" The female wolf leader asked.

"Commander Cesar....was killed by one of these prisoners." Allison replied in reference the the wolf Kaden killed earlier with Adrian and Angel.

"So...It seems as though I may have...underestimated you Gale wolves." The leader said.

"Your days of treachery and conquest are over!" Kaden yelled out. "For every time you strike us, we will strike back ten times as hard!"

This outburst caused the female wolf to stand up. "Oh? And what makes you so sure of that? I am Tribal master Gabriela. Firstborn of the Sun Wolf dynasty! Ruler of this tribe and will soon rule yours and all of this world! I shall become the TRUE ruler of the animals! And you think that a weak wolf such as yourself has any chance of getting in my way, YOU...are BLIND!!!"

Adrian and Kaden remained silent.

"YOU ARE THE ONE THAT IS BLIND!!!" A male wolf's voice said as it broke the silence.

Every wolf looked at the entrance of the hut, and saw Angel standing there, bloodied and bruised.

"Angel!" Kaden called out. "How'd you..."

"There was water below that broke my fall, but I had to fight off multiple feral wolves for survival." Angel answered.

"And you..." Gabriela said as she walked forward. "You shall be an example."

"No...you shall die here. Angel said.

Gabriela lunged forward at Angel and went for his neck. Angel jumped out of her way and slashed her hind leg with his claw.

"Mistress Garbiela!" Allison called out.

"No! I have underestimated this wolf inparticular." She replied. "But you shall die."

She turned around swiftly and slashed Angel directly on his face. As he fell back in pain, Gabriela went directly for his neck and bit him with full force. Causing blood to spew from his jugular.

"NOOOOO!!!!" Kaden yelled at the sight of his dying friend.

"Close your ignorant mouth." Gabriela barked at Kaden; Angel's blood dripping from her mouth.

This caused Kaden to begin to growl furiously.

"Kaden...Calm down. Adrian warned.

Kaden ignored Adrian completely. Finally, he slashed Allison and two other wolves that were holding them captive. He then lunged at another wolf; tackled them to the ground and ferociously ripped out its throat.

As Kaden finished his kill, another wolf was about to strike him from behind, but Adrian stepped in and slashed their side.

"ADRIAN!" Kaden barked in rage. "FINISH OFF THESE LESSER WOLVES! LEAVE GABRIELA TO ME!"

"Right!" Adrian said as he turned his attention to approaching wolves.

As Adrian engaged the wolves, Kaden walked up to Gabriela, who had a cocky smirk on her face. "What can you possibly do to me?" She said cockily. "You're a hunter...NOT a warrior like your friend there." She said as she nodded to Angel's corpse.

Kaden growled. "You will-"

Gabriela lunged at Kaden while he was in the middle of his sentence and slashed his side. As he jumped back in pain, she lunged at him to kill him the same way she had killed Angel. Kaden jumped up and grabbed her; exposing her neck. She tried to struggle out, but Kaden was too strong. As he tried to bite her neck, she twisted her body and rolled them both onto the ground; freeing her.

"You...." She began. "I have supremely underestimated you...But know this...I will return...and when I do, I will...KILL YOU!"

After she finished saying this, she ran towards the entrance o the hut. "SUN WOLVES! FALL BACK!" She exclaimed.

As she said this, all the remaining Sun wolves, including Allison; who was presumed dead, ran behind her and they left the village with their leader.

"Well done Kaden..." Adrian said. "I never knew yo had it in you."

"I just did what was needed...for survival." Kaden replied. "Are you alright?"

Adrian laid down on his side and revealed multiple slashes he'd receive from battle. "I'm fine." He said. "I just need rest."

After Kaden made sure Adrian was okay, he walked over to Angel's body. "You truly were a great friend." Kaden said. "And now you will live up to your name and watch over us...we will bury you...rest easy...my friend."

Adrian limped over to Kaden. "He was a perfect warrior." He said.

Kaden and Adrian both put their paw on their dead friend, and howled into the night.
