Adrian, Angel, and Kaden creeped through the tall grass of their village outskirts; being careful not to be detected by any opposing forces.
"Adrian..." Kaden said. "You never informed me of our mission. Why are we headed to the Sun Wolfe village?"
Adrian's face did not move. "Right. We are headed to their village to talk to the tribal leader on ending this futile war between our clans."
"We hope to bring peace throughout our land." Angel said.
"What? Isn't this a job for the ambassadors and our counsellor?" Kaden asked; shocked. "Why am I needed?"
"In case things go wrong...we need a warrior of your caliber to back us up." Angel said.
"...I shouldn't be here...I need to be at home...with Snow." Kaden replied.
"You must focus on the mission at hand." Adrian said.
"But-"
"Quiet..." Adrian said; ducking down.
As Adrian said this, several wolves with crimson fur and yellow stripes we walking in the valley bellow them.
"Sun Wolf patrol..." Angel said. "Should we sneak around?"
"Yes...No need for conflict. We're outnumbered." Adrian whispered. "Kaden, lead the way,"
"Okay." Kaden said as the crept down the side of the mountain.
"Quietly." Angel warned as he looked back at the patrol.
The three of them crept as quietly as they could and just as they were almost out of sight, they heard a voice come from behind them.
"Well!" The voice said. "What have we here?"
"Dammit." Angel said.
"Light Wolves..." The wolf that looked like the leader said.
"We do not want trouble..." Adrian said. "We are simply headed to our village." He lied.
"Hmm..Isn't your village this way?" One of the Sun Wolves said.
A silence fell over the wolves. Adrian now knew that the Sun Wolves were headed to their village and because of this, he knew they had to kill them; even though they were outnumbered three to eight.
Suddenly, one of the Sun Wolves darted toward Kaden with his fangs and claws ready to kill. The wolf tackled Kaden to the ground; the wolves teeth inching closer and closer to Kaden's neck. Kaden struggled an struggled, but the other wolf was too strong. Finally, Kaden saw a vision of a white wolf.
"SNOW!" Kaden yelled.

The chapters are shorter than I'm used to normally doing, but Im trying to update more frequently so the story is more engrossing. Tell me if this works! ^_^
