"Michael!" I shriek, running into hi arms as he spins me around. "I missed you so fucking much bro!".
He chuckled, "same here Vic!" How have you been?" he asked me.
"Great! You died your hair pink?" I smirked, referring to his lilac hair, ruffling it up casually.
"Vicky!" He said, slightly raising his eyebrow.
"Mickey!" I said in the exact same tone of voice he used before we both burst out laughing.
"God, I missed you so much little sis," he sighed.
"I missed you to big bro," I giggled, as held my hand and led me to the car.
"We are going to have so much fun, AFTER we talk," he announced slightly more serious now.
"Mickey!" I moaned t him.
"No come on. I heard you were hanging out with Clay and his group. Why?" he asked looking slightly upset and hurt. He used to hang out with them before he moved away. "What happened to Amanda, Samantha and Bailey?"
"Mickey, you used to hang out with them so I don't know what the big fuss is about. Oh, and Amanda and Samantha don't like me anymore because I technically ditched them. Bailey is fine with it and tags along aswell so... yeah." I explain.
"OK, but why Clay and his group?" he asked, "You know I regret hanging out with them so why are you making the same mistake as me?"
"I just - After you moved away I thought I could handle it. I thought coping with it was as easy a eating pizza. But I was wrong," at this point I was looking out the window, gazing distantly at all the cars whizzing past us. I slowly turned to face Michael. I saw concern in his big brown dopey eyes. "Without anyone to spill all my secrets to, to talk to, I turned to dad. For the first month I hardly ever saw him. He was out all night coming back after midnight, drunk and wasted. Soon enough he realized that it wasn't healthy for him and became a work-a-holic instead," I sighed and blinked vigorously o try to stop myself from tearing up because I didn't want to show Michael that I was upset . "I learned to look after myself. Alone." I added on.
Michael pulled up the car, "Aww Vic," he said squinting, as he pulled me into a tight embrace and this time I didn't even try to hold in the tears, "Vic I should have been there for you. Fuck it Vic, I wasn't. Just don't cry," he rubbed my back in between my shoulder blades knowing it comforted me. "God Vic I should have been there for you and I wasn't. But from now on I promise that I will be there for you. If you EVER, EVER need me just call me and I will be there ASAP. You understand me?" he promised.
I nodded my head before he held my head in his hands and used is thumbs to wipe away my tears, which had already disappeared into the back of my thoughts. He kissed my head lightly and I nuzzled into his neck. Moments later, we pulled away and he continued to drive as I continued to stare out of the window at the cars that whizzed past.
Eventually, we pulled up to number 7 on Victoria's street. I smiled at the sign remembering when Michael told me that the only reason he lived there was because the street was named after me. He moved out from our mum's house with one of his friends but I have never met him before.
"Oh yeah, Vicki?" he called out.
"Uhu?" I replied.
"Two other people now live with us. We're actually in a band. Relax," he said as soon as he could see that I had tensed up, "they're nice. You'll like them," he reassured me. The house had three floors, six bedrooms, four bathrooms, a kitchen, a sitting room and a room for their x-box and stuff like that.
Michael lifted up two of my pink suitcases out of the trunk of the car before locking it and making his way to the gate. As he stepped into the garden he turned back and gestured for me to follow suit and I did. I trailed after my brother, into the hallway and I could hear two other male voices. Before long, I was in the same room as them.
"Vic, this is Calum," he gestured over to the guy with dark brown hair and beautifully tanned skin. His face looked like a cute teddy bear.
"Hey," Calum said with a big smile plastered on his face. I just returned the smile and looked at the other boy just as my brother was about to speak.
"Vic, this is Ashton," Michael informed me. After I said hello to Aston, the door burst open.
"Guys, I'm home! Did you miss me?" a vaguely familiar voice called out.
"Luke!" all three boys cried out in sync as they attacked him like young girls fighting over a unicorn teddy. I just rolled my eyes but before I even got a glimpse of him, he was already being tackled to the floor as the three boys jumped on him in turn. I let out a small chuckle and waited for the boys to get off Luke so he could get onto his feet so I could see his face. [STALKER ALERT!]
"Luke-" I said at the exact same time that he said:
"Vic-". We hugged awkwardly and I could feel Michael's glare burning a whole in the back of my neck.
"Wait- How do you two know each other-?" Michael asked anxiously though I know he was eager to know the reason.
"I sat next to him for practically twenty-two hours on the plane," I explained to the three confused boys in front of me. I heard someone let out a sigh of relief.
"Sorry to break the tension guys but the party's like in three hours so..." Calum shattered the never-ending silence.Michael had told me earlier that one of his housemate's friends were going to be throwing a party the night that the plane landed, which was why we slept on the plane (well I didn't know that Luke was going at that time).
"OK, good. Shall I go and unpack and get ready then?" I quizzed
"Oh, yes. Come on, I'll show you where you are staying and stuff," Michael informed me as he showed me a big bedroom with an en-suite.
"Thanks Mickey, love you!" I said, kissing him on the cheek. I was the only person that called Michael Mickey. When I was younger, I always called him Mickey and I guess it kinda stuck since then. Although he didn't admit it, I knew he liked me calling him that. Secretly, he liked being my brother.
"Well I'll leave you to it. Call me if you need anything Vic,"Michael said as he backed out of the room.

I could hear Greenday playing American Idiot in the background as I put on some ripped black skinny jeans and an All Time Low tank top. I had on some black converses (as usual) and I finally curled my hair and just applied on a minimum amount of makeup. Some girls preferred to wear crop tops and skirts up their arses, whilst I preferred tank tops and skinny jeans. I made my way downstairs.
"Looking good, sis," Mickey said as soon as he saw me.
"Thanks bro, you to!" I replied, smiling. He was practically wearing the same as me.
"Can we go now?" Calum interrupted, trying to look serious. I just laughed.
"Fine," Michael said before grabbing the keys and making his way out of the door.
