Tomoe (Kamisama Hajimameshite) X Reader- The Fox Has A Heart Afterall~

I slammed the door coming into the Mikage Shrine, my shrine and home. Kurama had been bugging me all day and I didn't have anyone there to keep him away from me. Onikiri and Kotetsu still looked down but greeted me "hello Lady (Y/N), have a good day at school?" They said together.
"Kurama wouldn't stop annoying me" I sighed "any new news on Tomoe?" I asked
"no" they said looking even more sad, 'maybe I shouldn't  of asked, that stupid Yokai Fox' I thought.

Tomoe hadn't been here for three days now he probably ran off to the Yokai world, whatever it's called. He and I got into a fight and he's been gone ever since.

*FLASHBACK*
"You're so stupid!!! Your nothing but a pathetic human!!! Let alone a God!!!" Tomoe yelled at me
"You're not even a good familiar!!!" I yelled back, we stood face to face even with Tomoe being a few inches taller. We started at each other with fire in our eyes, I was sick of him always pushing me around. Didn't he think saying all those mean things hurt my feeling?
"Go run off and cry to your mother!!!" But that's it my mothers dead, I started to cry and his eyes softened. He took it to far.
"No wonder why Mikage left you here alone with the shrine spirits!!!" I breathed in and out hard and fast through my teeth. Tomoe's eyes widened and then he disappeared surrounded by his blue Fox Fire. I face palmed knowing that was harsh but he knows my Mum is dead. I just threw it back in his face.

*FlASHBACK OVER*

I was so lost in thought I didn't even hear Mizuki, my other familiar enter the shrine. "Someone is down" he says sitting down beside me
"oh hey Mizuki" I replied being snapped back to reality. He smiles at me before following my eyes to the Sakura Trees.
"Still no news on Tomoe, I assume?"
"Still no news" I say looking down. Mizuki turn and faces me,  lifting my chin with a finger
"I say it's better he's not here" my eyes widened from the sudden contact.

"Get your filthy hands of (Y/N) Snake" I knew that voice anywhere...Tomoe's. Mizuki's smile became more devilish and creepy like he was going to murder someone.
"He has returned" as Mizuki said this Onikiri and Kotetsu yelled together "Master Tomoe has returned!!!"

I still didn't dare face him. "Didn't you hear me Snake, get your hands off her" Mizuki let his hand fall
"I heard you Fox". The tension was getting heaver by the second like a weight on my shoulders.

I laughed nervously standing up
"I'm outta here" I say trying to walk past Tomoe but he grabs my wrist.
"I don't think so" he says and I stiffen with his touch, Mizuki gets up dusting off his Kimono. He gives me a sweet smile before walking outside the shrine 'GET BACK HERE MIZUKI, DON'T LEAVE ME HERE WITH HIM!!!!!' I mentally screamed.

Tomoe still held my wrist firmly and it was close to hurting. "Tomoe my wrist" I stated and he let go
"Where have you been, Master Tomoe?!!!" The shrine spirits said latching onto either leg
"Get out of my sight" he said in his scary voice and they flew off with a yelp.

The silence was deafing and I felt guilty that I had snapped at Tomoe about Mikage. I started to cry like the pathetic human I am. But, what surprises me, that I'm wrapped into a loving warm embrace. I look up see Tomoe smiling slightly "I know, I'm sorry too" he says and kisses my forehead softy.

I'm sorry I haven't been updating mainly because I'm on my Instagram account more than Wattpad so I'm not on much. I hope you all enjoyed this one!!!
