Haruka Nanase X Reader~ Calm and Cool

Haru has always been so calm and cool. Like nothing ever bothers him which I know isn't true though. I'd been competing against the Iwatobi Swim club since I was a young child.

I had been over in Australia competing, Rin and I are quite close friends. But, I had stayed in Australia after Rin left without a single word or explanation. I still consider him a close friend though. I'll get him back since I'd heard rumors he goes to my new school. I headed straight for the swimming pool, taking my clothes off as I went. I had my swimmers on underneath my uniform.

One of the teachers gave me directions to the pool and I'm already walking through the door. There were many hot guys in here and I ignored the stares. I couldn't see any other girls in here at all. I put my goggles on just before I had entered the door.

I but my bags down and walked over to an empty lane and set up and dived in. I could here shouting "hey!!! You can't just come in here and start swimming!!!" The voice sounded familiar
"why can't I?" I say turning around facing Rin.
"Your not apart of the swim team"
"I am, I already went and signed up"
"you haven't been timed" he smirked.

I smirked back and took my swimming cap and goggles off. Rin's eyes widened and he pales.
I spot Sosuke and he smiles and nods at me, secretly telling me awesome job, that I got him well. "I'm sure you won't mind Rin" the guy beside Rin with silver coloured hair looked between us. He looked really confused, I had to try so hard not to laugh at this whole situation.
"How aren't you laughing?" He asks
"oh, I really am. On the side" I laugh and Rin smiles. I continue swimming and Rin goes back to talking with people helping them with there swimming styles.

When I pull myself out of the water Sosuke is there putting his hand down to help me up. I take his hand and we pull each other into a hug straight away. "How have you been (Y/N)?" He smiles
"I've been good, thanks. What about you?"
"yeah good, making sure that Rin stays out of trouble"
"good to know".
Unlike Rin, Sosuke stayed in contact with me after he moved to Japan.
"How come you didn't tell me you were coming to Japan?"
"Surprise" I say and Sosuke smiles and shakes his head.
"It's a good surprise".

I walk over to Rin and he cowers and I slap him on the back of the head.
"No goodbye? No explanation to why one of my best friends left Australia to go back to Japan!!!" I yelled at him
"I'm sorry!" Rin says but I don't believe it
"if you were sorry, you wouldn't of let it happen in the first place" I snarl and stalk off.

I ended up going to a local pool, where I heard the Iwatobi Swim Club trains. I could hear Kou yelling as I entered the building and I was pretty sure I'd found the right place. I then saw the photos on the walls of everyone and I smiled at the great memories. I followed Kou's voice to the pool. I managed to walk up to the side of the pool without being noticed until Makoto pointed at me and said "isn't that... (Y/N)?"

The next thing I knew Nagisa was out of the pool bolting towards me. He threw himself at me hugging me tight. The impact sent us flying into the pool. We bobbed up above the water coughing, while everyone was laughing. "it is (Y/N)" Makoto says and I say hi to him.
Nagisa shakes my shoulders and hugs me again "I've missed you so much (Y/N)!!!"
"I've missed you too!!" I reply.

Nagisa raises his eyebrows just as I feel two long, lean, muscular arms wrap around my waist, no doubt Haru's. "I've missed you too (Y/N)" Haru speaks his breath tickling my neck. I spin around in his arms and smile and say quietly "I've missed you the most". Haru hugs me tighter.

***FLASHBACK- THIRD PERSON POV***

The two young kids ran around having fun like little kids should. Carefree and full of life, oblivious to the struggles ahead or where there swimming will take them. Haru scurries up the slide at the play ground, dragging (Y/N) up behind him. (Y/N) tried not to slip and trip over her own feet while being pulled up the slide.

Once the two kids were in the playground they sat down laughing. "I love you (Y/N) and one day we'll get married!!" Haru exclaims his eyes full of excitement. (Y/N) blushes vowing to herself that girlfriend, boyfriend. Comes first. It's only them Haru pecks (Y/N) right on the lips.

That was the last time the two children had seen each other.

***FLASHBACK OVER- YOUR POV***

I could stay here forever in his arms, it had been so long since I'd seen Haru- since I'd seen everyone. But, I'm back for good.
"Want to hang out?" Haru asks
"I'd love to" I reply.
Haru stopped hugging me for behind and took my hand in his and we swam to the edge of the pool. Haru lifted himself out with one arm and I watched the play of his muscles as he did so. He then pulled me out of the pool and he interlaced our fingers, holding hands. I looked over my shoulder and waved to everyone else smiling "I'll see you guys later!!"

We walked to Haru's place and I was happy. Nothing needed to be said everything was perfect. It doesn't matter that we hadn't seen each other for years, everything is the same. "Would you like something to eat?" Haru asks me
"yes please".

Haru let go of my hand to get us some food and I took off my wet uniform. I had my bikini on underneath so I was fine. I turned around seeing Haru holding a bag of chips, his eyes were a little wide. He is checking me and I tried my hardest not to blush.
"You're so beautiful" he tells me and I blush
"thank you".

We lay down on the couch together. Haru behind be with one arm wrapped around my waist and his other hand on top of my thigh. Dangerously close to my butt, not that I mind. We had already forgotten about the chips, I'm very distracted now that Haru has started moving his thumb on my thigh giving me goosebumps.

I turned my head slightly so I can look at Haru and his eyes flicked in between my eyes and lips. I was doing the same thing. I was lost in thought trying to decide whether or not to kiss Haru. But, then I felt his soft lips on my own.

...And the fangirls squeal
