Chapter 4

Probably because of exhaustion from yesterday's happening I woke up late. It is already past 12 noon when I finished taking a bath.

Checking if Mark and Jackson is still asleep I walked in to Mark's room just to see a made up bed, so they're awake.

Mark and Jackson is nowhere to be found as I searched the living room.

With grumbling stomach I headed to the kitchen for food only to see Mark with an apron cooking, rubbing my hands into my eyes thinking that I am dreaming but I'm not.

"good morning.. Or should I say good afternoon?" he greeted me chuckling and turning off the stove as he finished making food.

"Uh sorry I woke up late I should be the one making food, where's Jackson?" I asked not seeing J around, getting plates and Utensils setting up the table I sat down

"No it's fine, I made omelette and rice please eat" he answered serving the food and sitting across from me

"Thank you! " oh it looks appetizing

"Jackson left at 8am he told me he is meeting someone" I just nodded and looked into his eyes smiling as I eat.

Woah I didn't know Mark can cook. Even though it's just omelette it taste really good and I felt happy having him to cook for me for the first time. Well I know technically it's not for me, he just have to cook cause I'm still sleeping and he's hungry.

"this is really good" I commented munching the last piece.

"it's just omelette Jin, don't exaggerate..anyone can make it" so now his back to his cold self

"I know and can't I express my appreciation?" responding to him a little bit pissed cause he's ruining my happy mood

"no one said you can't, just don't exaggerate on every little thing" he stood up and put his plate on the sink

"whatever" pouting, I decided to let it go "hey! don't bother with the dishes I'll do it" standing up automatically upon seeing him start to wash it, taking my plate I went to his side.

He ignored me and wash the plates also getting my plate from my hands.

"go, I'll do it"he said while motioning me to go.

"I told you I will do it" I whined

He shook his head on my reaction

Well I'm not gonna let it go this time, he already made food why does he insist on washing the dishes?

"Mark let me do it!" I protested grabbing the plate on his hands and since it is slippery from the soap it slipped from my hands and fell on the floor breaking into pieces.

I gasped "YAH Jin Ae! I told you I will do it, look at what you've done!" he yelled at me and bent down to get the pieces of broken plate on the floor as I did the same.

"I wanted to help, sorry"

"really helpful huh" he replied with sarcasm "just go and please stop being annoying!" he raised his voice again getting the broken pieces from my hand cutting my palm in the process.

I quickly hide my hand at my back glad he didn't notice it bleeding.

"sorry... I'll be in my room" getting up to leave, but before I did I heard him mumbled something that broke my heart.

"why can't she just tell me the magic word, so that she can stop being annoying and leave"

I ran to my room trying hard not to be affected by what I heard.
