Chapter 12

Today is the day of our stage play. Still laying on my bed just a thought of the play makes me squirm in nervousness. After thinking of what will happen today for the nth time I decided to take a shower cause even though I have a free class today I still need to make breakfast and go to school on time with Mark.

Making sure that I look presentable and I have all the things that I will be needing for the play, I headed downstairs to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

Aside from nervousness, I am also very excited to let the school see what me and Jackson worked hard for.

When I arrived at the kitchen, with mouth agape I was surprised by what greeted me. It's Mark Tuan making breakfast.

"Good morning Jin!" he greeted me with a wide smile.

"Good morning. I was just about to make breakfast but, why are you the one making it?" I asked walking closer to his side to watch him cook. You can't blame me it's once in a lifetime opportunity.

"why can't I? This is my house I can do what ever I want." he replied chuckling softly.

Placing my bag on the chair, I stared at him dumbfounded. Unbelievable.

"haha bad joke? Hmm you can say that I made breakfast to cheer you on your stage play. You have to do good cause I woke up early for this" he stated proudly.

These days Mark never failed to cheer me on. He always do something to make me feel confident and driven to do my best.

"oohhh really? Woaah Mark your so sweet!" my gaze went towards what he is cooking and it's my favorite pancake and eggs!

"Pancake? I thought you don't want to eat pancake anymore?" I asked

"I don't want to, but just for today." he admitted as he served the food on the table.

We ate in a comfortable silence.

"are you going to watch our stage play later?" I asked getting down the car.

He gave me a guilty look,

"Jin you know I can't." he replied sadly walking towards my side.

I know that he won't be able to watch because he has a class during that time but I am just hoping he could.

"Jin Ae-yah!" I jolted when Jackson suddenly appeared on my side.

"yaah! You scared me." I yelled shocked slapping his left arm.

"that's what I intended to do." he teased laughing out loud.

Mark then tug on my wrist.

"we have to go to it's almost time for the first class." he reminded not removing his hand on my wrist.

On whatever is going on on his mind, I don't care cause these past few days he's been caring and expressive that is very advantageous for me. Maybe even just a little bit he already developed feelings for me.

I smiled as we followed Mark inside the building.

"see you guys later and do your best on the play okay?" Mark stopped when we reached 2nd floor releasing his hold on my wrist.

"You don't have to worry Hyung we always do our best and I got an amazing partner here." Jackson interjected pointing at me.

Mark shook his head smiling raising his hand he waved at us before going his way to the 3rd floor where his classroom is.

The whole time we are waiting for the program to start, my nerves are killing me Jackson never let me practice and told me to just relax cause we already practiced enough.
