I stand there in shock. After hearing Harry's confession, I feel a sense of security. Not that I didn't before but now it's a lot stronger from simply hearing him say those words.

"I genuinely think I love her and hurting her is the last thing I'd ever want to do."

The beautiful statement replays in my head as I walk to my car and wait by it.

Seconds later, Harry steps out of the front door, waving goodbye to Braxton.

He faces me, a wide grin taking over his face.

"I'm not sure if I've already complimented you but just in case, I want you to know that you look stunning, as usual." He smiles as he walks over to where I'm standing.

"You look stunning too. Who knew you could look so fancy and just... Spiffy."

"Spiffy? Well thank you." He laughs at my word used to compliment him.

I'm about to get into the car but he stops me.

"Wait, Lydia. I was thinking that because I'm taking you on a date that I could drive?" He asks nervously.

"Are you sure you're okay to drive?" I ask him. I know he hasn't drove since the accident with his sister and I don't want him to feel like he has to.

"Yeah, I'm positive. I know it's been a while but I feel like I'm over my fear of driving. This may seem odd but Braxton let me drive around in his car a bit earlier and I think I'm okay. I swear." He tells me and I can't find it in myself to tell him no. If he's positive he can drive again then who am I to tell him he can't?

I smile, digging out my keys from my purse. He grins as I place them into his hands.

"Thank you so much." He smiles, quickly planting a kiss on my cheek before getting into the drivers seat of the car.

I laugh as I go around the car into the passenger seat.

"Well, where are we going?" I ask him as I buckle in my seatbelt.

"I'd love to tell you, Lydia, I really would. But I wouldn't want to ruin a surprise, would I?"

"Okay, okay." I laugh.

He puts the key into the ignition and turns it, allowing the car to start. I can tell he's very nervous. I'm not sure if it's because of the date or because he's driving but his nervousness is clear.

He wipes his sweaty hands on his pants before he starts to drive away. Slowly at first but he quickly adapts to the feel of my car.

"You're doing great." I tell him and he quickly looks to me, a smile plastered to his face before he faces back to the road.

He keeps driving at a steady pace. Not being reckless but rather careful, maybe a bit to much but I'm very patient with him because I understand why.

Eventually, we pull up to a restuarant. Not one I've been to before which is odd considering I've lived here my whole life.

"This is where we're going? How did you find this place?" I ask him as he begins to park the car.

I look at the large restaurant. Taking in the fancy look of everything along with the scenery. They have many decorative pieces structured along the building with many small plants to give it a simple look.
