"Are you done?" I ask Harry who's in front of the mirror fixing his hair for what seems like the hundredth time.

"Almost." He mutters as he shakes a couple pieces into place.

"Why does it have to be perfect?" I ask, referring to his hair.

"It doesn't. I just have really messy bed head sometimes and it takes a while to fix it." He explains.

"Hm. Well I'll be waiting in the kitchen. Im going to go grab a snack for us." I say as I leave the bathroom.

He nods, still focused on his hair and I laugh to myself at how dedicated he is.

I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen looking for something to possibly eat. Soon enough, my father steps into the room with a smile on his face.

"Good morning." He says to me as he fixes himself a cup of coffee.

"Good morning." I greet, walking over to give him a kiss on the cheek.

"I haven't seen you in forever." He says and I start to feel bad. It's weird barely seeing someone that you've always lived with. "How has your week been?" He asks.

"It's been great for the most part." I say truthfully. Harry has consumed most of my week so he takes the credit for my recent mood. "What about your week?" I return the question.

"It's went pretty smoothly. But I have missed my favorite girl." He smiles, patting my back as he walks to the table.

"We need more quality time together." I tell him.

"It's hard to make time for you with me working and you in school." He sighs.

"How about we spend the whole day together on Christmas? We'll open presents and watch all the Christmas movies we can fit into one night." I propose, smiling at the idea.

"Sounds perfect."

Soon we hear Harry coming down the steps and my father looks at him confused but quickly greets him.

"Hey Harry." He smiles at him.

"Hello Mr.Collins." He says in a respectful manner.

He sits across him at the table and they soon become involved in their own conversation and I smile at the small bond they've formed.

I turn back to the cabinets to find something. I decide to grab two breakfast bars for us. We'll probably end up getting food later after we finish our Christmas shopping today.

I toss one to Harry and sit down at the table as well.

I eat silently as I watch them talk about football. Something that I've never cared about unless my father forced me to watch.

Eventually, they finish their conversation and Harry heads for the door.

"Nice catching up with you." He grins, as he waves at my father.

"Same to you, Harold." He says and he gets up, walking to the living room.

We open the door, the cold air quickly hitting us and the snow on the ground temporarily blinding us.

We get into the car and I start it, quickly turning on the heat to get rid of the freezing cold that's taken over the inside of my car.
