This is it. Today is the day that I start my junior year of college at my new school and I've never been more excited.

I'm awake an hour earlier than usual just to make sure I have everything set. I look through my backpack about ten times just to get over how obsessive I am about being prepared. I just want everything to be perfect.

I toss my backpack onto my bed and grab a towel from my closet so I can get into the shower. I strip out of my pajamas, allowing the warm water and strawberry scented body wash to fill my senses. It calms me down a bit, it always does.

I quickly wash my hair and step out of the shower to wrap a towel around myself.

I walk into my room and pick up my outfit that is laid across the end of my bed. A long sleeve gray crop top and high waisted black jeans along with a black sweater. Today shouldn't be as cold as its been the past few days so I should get away with this light sweater over my shoulders.

I dry my body and begin to get dressed.

I place my towel in the bathroom and roll my sleeves up to take the large band aid on my arm off. I'm wearing a long sleeve today so I should get away without anyone seeing the regretful marks on my skin.

I sigh as I walk into the bathroom to brush my teeth and comb through my hair.

As I walk out of the bathroom, I remember that I promised Braxton that I would pick up Harry. He might already be ready to leave so I quickly throw on my boots, grab my backpack, and leave my bedroom.

"Good morning father" I smile at my dad who is seated at the kitchen table eating cereal.

He looks up and smiles back at me.

"Good morning my princess. Are you ready for your first day?" He questions.

Am I?

"I guess so. It shouldn't be too bad, I mean its just college." I sigh, looking through the cabinets for a granola bar.

He chuckles and looks up at me.

"No matter what, you'll do great at it. I believe in you Lydia." he gets up from his seat and pulls me into a hug.

"Thanks dad" I laugh into his chest.

My dad has always been there for me, no matter what. I don't think I can ask for a better dad than this.

"Alright, go to school and make me proud." he smiles realeasing me from the hug and patting my shoulder.

I smile back at him as I grab my granola bar.

"Bye dad" I wave to him as I leave the house.

I see him wave back to me just before I shut the door.

I rush to my car and turn on the heat even though it isn't too cold outside.

I open my bar and begin to eat it as I drive to Braxtons house.

I finish my food just as I arrive there. I turn off my car and get out, walking up the familiar stone path to their front door.

I knock on the door and wait patiently for someone to answer.

Soon enough, the door swings open and I am faced with Braxton infront of me. His hair is messy meaning he got out of bed recently.

"Hey," I say, looking at him rub his eye.

"Hi" he mumbles.

I step into the house and close the door behind me.

"Just got out of bed, huh?" I smirk.
