Chapter 15:

The next day I came back to my room to see the door open. I walked in to see Ariel talking to someone.

“Hey Elena, good to see you a bit better. This is your new roommate Hailey”

The girl turn around and I immediately recognise her. Hailey Ganger.My best friend at St. Anne. I haven’t seen her in so long. I looked at her then realize there’s a difference in her. I look at her eyes. Same milk chocolate brown eyes but now with a red rim around the edge.

Fuck she’s a vampire now.

I started to view her now with disgust now.

“Hi Hailey” I said through my clenched jaw.

“Elena nice to see you again”

“Again?” Ariel asked.

“Yes we’re best friends at school but Elena dropped out a couple years ago” Hailey explained.

“Oh that’s cool. Eh Elena where’s Kayla? Have you seen her?”

“Yes she’s still at lunch. Were you there?”

“No I wasn’t”

“Oh well she still there. I have to go and see Xavier in his office now so I…guess I’ll see you later”

I walked out of the room before I start hitting someone.

I knocked on Xavier office door.

“Come in Elena” I opened the door.

“Hello”

“Please take a seat. We got some things to discuss.”

Before I sat down I stared straight into his eyes.

“Hand me over the security schedule” I demanded with compulsion

He stared at me. Then slowly as the magic heaps in he stared at me blankly.

“I said hand me over the security schedule”

He turns around and gave me a piece of paper.

“Thank you now you will forgot everything that just happen and go back to what you were saying do you understand?

“Yes I do Elena”

I let go of the spell and sat down.

“Elena I heard from Ariel that you were making an escape plan with Kayla and her friends is that true?”

“No it’s not” I lied

“Oh really then why did Ariel copied your papers and hand them over to me and told me the names that are in this so called plan of yours”

That fuckin’ bitch!

“Well as you see, when I was at my old school I was very interested in how everything worked so I asked around for the floor plan and looked at it” I explained my lie.

“Ah I see so this is all a misunderstanding. Ah you are dismiss”

He bought it yes!

“Thank-you for understanding Xavier” I nodded and got out of my seat and walked over to the door. As I was closing on the door I heard Xavier say in the intercom

“We better watch for Elena and her friends tell the security”

I closed the door.

I walked back to my room and saw a note on the door with my name on it. I grabbed the piece of paper and opened it.

I met your girlfriend. She seems awesome…I hate her. She’s just like Ariel. Since she is your friend I’ll be nice to her but I don’t trust her. I wanted to hear the news but I was going to be late for class sorry. Hailey should still be in there. I’ll see you at dinner and tell me EVERYTHING!

I folded the note and put it in my bag then I opened my door and walked in. just as the door closes. Hailey was there in a blink of a eye and pined me to the door. I stared at her hatefully. She looks straight in to my eyes.

“Why do you hate me?” she asked. I look from her face to her feet then back up again. “You seriously asking me that?” I snapped.

She looked at me more then finally realized what my answer meant.

“You hate me because I’m a vampire,” she said as a statement. I kept starring at her with now rage.

“Being a vampire is amazing. The speed, the strength, the nighttime vision, the super sonic hearing. You’re like the rulers of the nighttime world. Nobody can kill you.” She rambled.

“Isn’t that why you left? To stop using magic and become a vampire? I guess you weren’t lucky on that,”

Now I’m going to explode with rage. I shot a fireball at her. She jumped back shocked. I used the knock back spell and tossed her to the far wall. She fell to the floor. As she started to get up I sent a lighting shocker spell and she fell to the floor. I walk up to her.

"That's not why I left. I left to learn combat and to learn how to use spells that St. Anne wasn't teaching us. As you see, I don't need a wand anymore" I hissed at her. I sent my last spell and started to suffcate her. It takes a while to suffocate a vampire but the younger they are the easier it is. In the matter of minutes she started to turn blue. I turned around and went up to the door still holding on to the spell. I opened the door and walked out. Once the door closed the connection to the spell broke.
