Chapter 29:

Year Later.

Jeremy and I are living together in Canada. We finally got enough money to move there. Spending most of our days trying to get money, build a new house for everyone. Thanks to Emily and Kristof for letting us live with them until we found some place. Our old house burned down. Destroying everything we owned, my weapons, clothes, and memories. Such a disappointment to lose all those things we lost in that fire. I work for the forester in a small town call Huntsville, Jeremy working on our new house. Brandt stayed to live with Emily and Kristof to learn some more magic. Kayla and Christian are dating and living with Christophe and Anthony, its there 4 month. Anthony and Christophe are in a new but smaller house, since Jeremy and I aren’t living there anymore, annoying them to death because of our jokes and fights, but now they have Chris and Kayla who they would start to like. We’ll visit them every Christmas. I miss them, but happy to be with Jeremy. I have new cuts and burns. My cast on my arm is off but not on my leg because I broke it again. I broke 2 ribs, but I’m healthy now, or I should say better then before, I don’t have anymore smoke in my lungs. On May 18 was the day we got marry. My new name is Elena Kaitlyn Livingston. I do enjoy hearing it. Jeremy is the same old even when were married, I’m happy that stayed the same. We have a baby on the way too. I know I’m young but I think I could handle this. Nick came up and helped Jeremy on the house; well he’s still up actually. Kathryn and I gotten a lot closer because were living together at the moment. I do enjoy my life now; I regret my wish to have it change. I finally realized that I did have a family. My brother never came back to haunt me, and Hailey left us alone for the moment, but that’s a different story. As we get into the present. I’m sitting on the couch with my husband laughing at our memories.

“You remember that time when you bit my finger?” Jeremy asked.

“Yea, your finger made my ham taste even better,” he laughed.

“What’s that place called where you went when you left me?”

“Summerdale, I’m not leaving you again Elena. I made a mistake and I learned from it”

“What did you learn?” I asked jokingly

“That to never trust you that you won’t hurt yourself” he put that wolf grin on that I love. I laugh and felt a kick in my stomach.

“Oh, the baby kicked again” I said.

“I know I heard,” he leaned in and kissed me.

“I love you Elena, always have, and always will”

“I love you too Jeremy.”

“I’ll protect you forever since you’re a bit clumsy”

I laughed, “and I’ll protect you forever from your ego” he laughed. He kissed me again and I know that I have a great life with him and our children. I don’t need any more changes in my life now, but I’m young, you never now what’s going to happen in the future.
