A Special Witch

Chapter 24:

It has been days since the insistent in the cellar. I was outside running. I got to practice that a lot more. I’m on my fourth lap around my lot when I hear a noise in the bush. Awe not again. I stop and look all around me. There was something near the tree across from me. I walked near it to get a better view at it. It started to clap.

“Bravo Elena, you got away from us.” Hailey walks out of the shadow.

“What do you want Hailey?” I asked.

“Oh you know what I want, you’ve been getting in my way since you were fifteen”

“I don’t understand”

“Did you know that Jeremy and I knew each other?”

“No”

“Of course not, well dear Elena we’ve been boyfriend and girlfriend for 10 years”

“That can’t be, you just turned into a vampire this year,” she laughs.

“What?” I asked.

“I’m born vampire, Elena, you remember that bottle of juice I always drank? Well that was juice to make me look like a witch”

“Well okay…I still don’t get is why am I involved?”

“Your good with weird. I like that about you. Your involved because you took him away from me and now I’m finish with my games and eliminate you from this world”

“What games have you been playing?” I asked her slowly backing away.

“Well first off, I killed your parents. That’s right. It was me, I knew you were a threat to me, but your parents got in the way,” she took a step forward, “I turned your brother into a vampire so I can use him against you. I went into your head and made that horrible sound while you were in that cellar. I like to play with my food, so what would it be for you trick or treat? Difficult yes to chose from.”

“What’s the difference?”

“Well, you be dead for both, but trick I could let you get away and chase you and treat kill you right now and get it over with”

I backed up into a tree. She walked forwards. When she was where I was. She put her hand on my throat, feeling it, making me scared as shit. She let go of me and I ran right passed her. I ran and ran, hoping I could get to the house before she gets me. A mass of pressure went into my right side of my body and I fell over. Head hitting into a tree, my left arm in an odd form. I think that’s broken. Hailey got off of me.

“I guess its trick for you, Elena.”

I began to crawl away. She laughed and walked to my right leg and stomped on it.I shrieked in pain. She kicked me in the face and I roll over. I couldn’t do anything. Everything hurts. I’m paralyzed at the moment; all I could do is close my eyes and waited for her to kill me. I think about my happiest thing I could ever remember. I was in the car with my parents and my little brother. My dad was driving, my mom talking to us.

“Momma who do I look more like? You or daddy?”

“Darling you look so much like your mother, its unbelievable. Its like you’re her mini me” my dad laugh at that. I giggled.

“So Lucas will look like you daddy then?” I asked.

“Maybe but I sure do hope so, even though your mother is very gorgeous.” I smiled at that thought.

“I love you mommy and daddy.”

“What about your brother Elena?” my mom asked.

“Opps I forgot,” I giggled. I lean over my brother and gave him a kiss on the cheek, “I love you too, Lucas”

Her laugh made my memory fade away. I looked up to her.

“That’s what you’re thinking about, before you die,” she laughed again, “well, good memories won’t do much for you,” she kicked me in the face once last time and I fell back, and went into the darkness once again.
