I walked into Christophe study. It been days Elena has been missing.

“We need to go looking for her. Does she have like a place she always go to when she is upset?” I asked Christophe.

“She does Christian, but she never told us where.”

“I bet Jeremy knew,” I muttered to myself.

“I know he does because he found her there, but as you see he is not here anymore.”

“I’ll keep looking for her,” I walked out of the room and went outside. I’ve been doing this since I got here. Wandering, looking for her. Why did Jeremy have to hurt her so much? I bet when I find her she’s going to be so weak she won’t be able to walk or do anything at this time. It’s been three days since I got here and she left the second day I was here. I kept walking; I hear the river from here. I walked up to the shoreline and walked east.

I’m still walking its been a hour, I think I should go home. I looked up to see where I was and I saw a leg coming out of a rock. I walked to where the leg is, so I don’t scared it. I see her. Her face looking so hollow, that she is seeing nothing, Deep purple bags under her eyes. Very dirty, her skin all so very dark. One wet line going down her cheek. Her body, looking much more fragile then before. So pale under the dirt. I bent down put my arm under her armpit and my other under both of her legs and picked her up. I walked back to the house.

I bounced up and down in Christian’s arms. I put my head back, feeling the motion. Up, down, up, down, over and over again. That’s all I felt and did. He tried to talk to me a couple of times, but I gave no reply. How long was I there? That’s my question but I didn’t say anything. My stomach growled, but I couldn’t care less. I felt his arms move me, shifting me. He kicked the door open, walked in, and placed me in a chair. I stared at the wall, while he went to get Christophe.

Christophe came into the room, pulled out a chair, and sat in it.

“Elena, are you hungry?” he asked me. I didn’t say anything.

“Elena, please talk,” he begged. I turned my head and looked at him. I still didn’t say anything. Chris came into the room with a large plate of food and put it in front of me. For about a minute all I did is stare at it, but smelling the food was making my mouth water. I picked up the fork and slowly put some food into my mouth. I don’t know what it was, but I just kept eating it until my plate was empty.

“Elena, you have to talk, please talk” Christian asked me. I didn’t say anything. I got up but my legs were so weak I fell over and hit the ground.

“Umph” I tried to get up again, but couldn’t. They didn’t try to help me. They were watching me and waiting for me to ask for help.

“Would you guys help me up?” I asked defeated. They both went down and picked me up. I put most of my weight on them but I put some on my feet to see how long they can last. It didn’t last long and Christian scooped me up and brought me to my room. He put me on the bed and left me alone. I bent over the bed, grabbed for the thing I was looking for, the bottle of vodka, opened it, and drank right from the bottle. It burned my throat but it really is making me feel better already. I kept drinking it.

I went up to check on Elena. I knocked on her room door.

“Come in!” she yells. I opened the door. I see her on her bed with a bottle of vodka.

“What are you doing Elena?” I asked surprised.

“Having fun!” she screams, and then goes into a laughing fit.

I walked up to her and grabbed the bottle out of her hands.

“You’re joining in, that’s great,” she laughs some more.

“No, I not, I’m stopping you”

“Awe, don’t be like that” she crawls up to me and touches my face.

“Join in on the fun” she whispers. She falls back giggling.

“Woo!” she yells and laughs. I looked to the bottle to see she drank three quarters of the bottle.

“This isn’t good for you, Elena”

“I feel great! This is helping so much! Woo!” she laughs.

I walked out of the room and went to get Anthony. Anthony was in the living room with Kayla and Brandt.

“How is she?” Kayla asked.

“Why don’t you go see for you self? She’s drunk”

“How?” Brandt asked. I pulled out the bottle of vodka.

“How did she get that?” Anthony asked.

“I don’t know, but she is going crazy, I need you help Anthony, do you have a cellar or something too put her in it?”

“We do, but we shouldn’t put her in it” Anthony replied.

“Come see what’s she’s like, right now”

All three of them got up and walked with me to her room. I opened the door.

“Hey guys you coming to join the party?” she asked and laughs some more, with another bottle of vodka in her hands.

“Elena stop that, this isn’t good for you” Kayla said to her.

She laughs; “I feel great” she gets to her feet, wobbles and falls back on the bed.

“Woo!” she throws her fist into the air, “this is the life,” she giggles.

Anthony nods to me walks and over to Elena. Punches her in the face, she falls over unconscious. What the fuck?

“You didn’t have to do that Anthony” Brandt said.

“Yea we did” he picks up Elena and brings her down the step, walks into Christophe study.

“What are you doing Anthony?” Christophe asked.

“Were putting her into the cellar, she’s drunk,” Christophe nods, walks to a bookshelf, and pulled down a book. On the other side of the room a door appears. Anthony walks in there and disappears. When he came back up. He was all alone.
