I long to see you
To feel your warm embrace
I long for your fragrance, sweeter than the purest perfume
Your eyes captivate and ensnare me
Your lips tempt me
The demons of lust and love have seen your beauty
And cry for more
But as Romeo to Juliet
Your love is unattainable to a man such as me
One who can provide mere rags
To the silk that should caress your curves
A man who can only promise you the moon
When you deserve the stars
You are more than a queen in my sight
To my heart you are a deity
I can not stand the moments away from you
When I can not steal a glance
Or capture a smile
It is like torture upon my soul
To not feel your warmth or hear your voice
I can imagine no worse hell for a man
To go through life and not know your love
But I shall endure the hardship
And suffer torture unto my soul
For I know that as two stars our paths have been intertwined
And though in this life we may not know each others love
Paradise would seem a hollow victory without you
