Your POV

"Where were you last week tonight?" The police officer asks as I fiddle with my handcuffs. The bright light shines down at me, and I move in my chair. The glass across from me is black, but I can tell eyes are on me. I sweat nervously. What would Felix say? What do I say? I stay silent, and the man talking to me slams his hand down on the table. I jump, and I watch him eye me. "Just answer the question."

I gulp, and put my hands shakily on the table. I think about what to say. If I lie, I can maybe get away with it, but if I tell the truth I can face less consequences than if I lie and get caught. I sigh and make a decision.

"Me and Felix were playing a prank... and we were hiding in their closet, and when we heard footsteps we sprayed silly string, and Ryan fell down the stairs... Then we ran away." I gulp as the police officer eyes me. He sits down, and opens a folder sitting on the table. It is filled with various pictures of Ryan. He flips through them, until he finds one, and shows it to me. It's Ryan, but he is in a hospital bed, with a bandage wrapped around his head.

"Now that you can see that this is what happened, why didn't you tell the police?" He asks. I looks down so my hair is shielding my eyes from the bright light.

"I was scared and in a panic... So was Felix. Just tell us how bad it is... What are we up for?" I ask tears welling in my eyes.

"Your are free to go. Ryan told us to drop all charges. Same with your boyfriend. Just make sure that you thank him. Now, shoo." The man say's and I let a out a sigh of relief. My heart beats, and it feels like it is jumping out of my chest. Some men come in, and take my handcuffs off, and escort me out of the building. By the time I get out, it's very early in the morning, and dark gray clouds clouds roll over the sky like they are lost. It starts to sprinkle, then pour. Felix isn't out yet, so I just stand in the rain. I hold my ski jacket under my arm, and the vintage dress  wear underneath it soaks. By the time Felix is out, I am covered in rain. He walks up and hugs me, and I let my weight sink into him. He wraps an arm around me. I shiver as more rain falls onto me.
"I'm so glad you're okay." He whispers. "It was my fault. I got us into this." I shake my head.

"No Felix, it's not your fault. Come, let's just go..." We pile into our car, and we drive home.
