Knocking on her door Ariel opened it slightly to see Lizzie staring out of the window. "Hey Liz, you still mad at me for teasing you?" She asked walking in and petting Zwei as he came up to her. Lizzie sighed as she kept looking out of the window. "No I'm not mad at you still, maybe slightly annoyed, but not mad." "Good to hear then, now you want to talk about what's on that mind of yours?" She asked making a chair out of ice and sitting next to her. "It's funny, I'm not really thinking about anything really. Just looking out the window and letting thoughts cross my mind as they come and go." "Well that could either be a good thing or a bad thing, which should I take it as?" "I'm not sure; it doesn't feel bad or good, just sort of neutral and in the middle."

They sat in silence for a little while looking out of the window at the city below them. Ariel started to get bored however and wanted to try and cheer her friend up. Looking over she made sure Lizzie wasn't looking, and poked her shoulder. She saw Lizzie give a small ghost of a smile, but nothing else. She poked her again and again trying to get a reaction from her. She could see her friend trying to hold back her smile now, she knew she had her. She poked her again, "I know you want to laugh, just let it out. You know I won't stop until you do. Come on laugh Lizzie. Lizzie, Lizzie, Lizzie, Lizzie." She kept saying her friends name and poking her until she was promptly pushed off her chair by a gust of wind.

Lizzie had started to laugh and poked her in her side. Ariel smiled knowing she had gotten her friend to smile again. She poked her back harder and stuck her tongue out at her. Lizzie then playfully smacked her shoulder, to which Ariel did the same. They kept this up for a few more seconds until they were both laughing at each other. Ariel grabbed Lizzie by the shoulder and started walking with her towards the door. "Come on we have dinner to make and I want to try out our new spices." "Do you know if ninny was staying for dinner?" "I'm not sure actually, when I left them they were glaring daggers at each other. Probably over what Adrian wants to tell me about the marks."

Walking into the kitchen they both froze seeing Adrian and Christian cooking. Looking at each other they slowly started to back up to the room. Just then Christian turned around and saw them backing away. "Oh we didn't think you two would be out anytime soon. We heard you laughing and having a good time, so we decided to start cooking." "Since when do you cook ninny? I know Adrian did it once for Ariel, but I've never seen you cook before." Ariel looked over at her with a mock worried look. "Oh god Liz do you think he could be trying to poison us? It's probably going to kill us it will be so bad." They both laughed at this as they looked over at Christian and saw him with a frown on his face. "I'll have you know I am a great cook. Besides if I tried to poison you Ariel then Adrian would most likely kill me and hide my body." "He makes a very valid point little one." Adrian agreed grinning at the antics going on.

Ariel walked over to Christian and hugged him. "You know I'm just playing around with you gingy. I'm sure you wouldn't try to kill us, even if we are evil little sisters." "Who told you that? I never said that!" He said getting nervous and trying to back away from her grip. "I never said you did gingy, you said it yourself just now." Ariel said grinning at him. Adrian started laughing at that, "You are an evil little genius aren't you? I was the one who told her about how you viewed them as sisters." "Also I want you to know I view you as an older brother who must be annoyed constantly and without mercy. Such is the duty of the younger sibling you see." She said putting him in a death grip of a hug.

Lizzie was standing to the side laughing until Ariel pulled her into the hug. "Why must I be annoyed mercilessly? You should respect your older sibling!" Christian said trying to wiggle away. "You should really just let it go ninny, you will never win against her. She was the youngest of three and she told me some interesting stories about her childhood." Lizzie said grabbing his arm and pulling him back. "My favorite one is about my older brother when I was really little and I wanted him to play with me but he wouldn't." Ariel said looking over at Lizzie and smiling. Adrian had grabbed Ariel to try and free Christian, and pulled her onto his lap as he sat down. "And what happened then little one?" He asked as he put his head on her shoulder. "Well like I said I was really young and wanted him to play with me. My brother was seven years older than me and he just wanted to sleep for a while. Now I'm sure you've noticed I can be stubborn and annoying when I want to be." Christian piped in at this point taking a seat, "Oh yes we all know how pigheaded you can be."
