"Let's Begin."

Flare's Pov

The scream sound familiar. It was Selena. Yellow and I ran in the direction her scream came from, coming face-to-face with a complete stranger.

I stood calmly while Yellow was completely and obviously panicking.

"What are you doing with that prisoner?" They asked.

"I was told to bring her to her to get ready for the interrogation." I lied. "I do hope you aren't planning on making Gem wait. I can always. Tell her that your the reason we're falling behind schedule on the brainwashing." I smirked, doing the best evil expression I was capable of faking.

"Y-you wouldn't!" He stuttered.

"If you tell me who that scream came from, I'll think about not."

"Th-that way!" He quickly answered. "But I swear, I have no idea who it was!"

"Shame." I said before knocking him out with a single punch to the temple. I turned to Yellow and grabbed her wrist, pulling her in the direction that the scream came from. "Come on!" I exclaimed.

"You're going to brainwash us?!" She asked in a scared tone.

"No, Gem wants to." I began explaining. "She finds your abilities intriguing. She wants them for herself. For Team Mirage. To hatch a Pokemon egg several times faster then normal, and to train them to perfection. To know how to perfectly create a counter strategy when things don't go her way in a battle. To have someone to catch mass numbers of Pokemon in a day. To have one heal knocked out Pokemon in the midst of a battle. To learn about further evolution than most know about. Personally, I find it disgusting, but I've had no choice but to go along with her plan. It was the only way I could gain her trust and get more people involved in the inside. I understand you don't trust me, because I know the truth and frankly, I don't care if you don't trust me."

Yellow didn't reply, but she was literally being dragged by me, and guessing by how she was already out of breath, she wasn't as fast as me when it comes to running.

Eventually, we reached a dead end. There wasn't anything there. "Where is she?" I asked allowed. I turned around to see an unconscious Yellow. Before I could bend down to see if she was okay, there was a sharp pain in the back of my head, and next thing I knew, I was seeing stars.

Yellow's Pov

I slowly opened my eyes, this time, I was in a white room. "Where am I? What happened?" I thought to myself.

I tried to grab my head because it hurt, but my arms couldn't lift more then a few inches. I looked down to see that my wrists and ankles were handcuffed to the bed. A hospital bed to be exact.

Next to the bed on a counter were test tubes, needles, flasks, an IV, and unidentifiable objects.

Someone came into the room. They were blurry. "You're finally awake. Good." They said evilly. "Lets begin."

Me: BEGIN WHAT?!?! TELL ME~!!!!

Yes, it is shorter than usual. *Sarcastically* It's so terrible! Cause I'm so never gonna update again. (Please realize that I'm not serious and WILL finish this book.)
