3 weeks later

Mariah PoV:

I ran my finger. through Jaden's hair as he swirled his young in my mouth. He placed his hands in my ass and then grabbed it... dis boy.

I finally pulled away and juss smiled at me.

"So I was thinking, you could meet my mom" he said scratching the back of his head.

"Really? " I raised my eyebrow surprised.

"Aha, I know it only been 3 weeks, but I did some thinking, and I think that you guys should meet. I mean I want the two most important females in my life to get ta know eachother" he said causin' me to try and fight the smile that keeps up on my face.

"Okay... well... erm... I haven't exactly told my family about you and me cuz you said you wanted ta keep it on tha down low for a bit" I said causin' him to slightly frown.

"Yeah but now I'm sayin, I want you ta meet ma mom." he said

"I mean it ain't that deep, but I juss wanted you guys ta meet" he said sound in' disappointed.

"No, babe I wanna meet ha. I juss wanna tell my family first you know. Knowing my dad, he'll wanna meet you..." I said rambling on, but I was interrupted by him kissin' me.

"It's coo' bæ, we don't have ta rush it. when you ready" he said standin' up.

"Aight lets get ta school, ion want Mrs Adams on my ass" he said openin' his car door for me.

Destiny PoV:

This is weird. Like really weird. Kayden juss texted me sayin' she was comin' ova cuz she wanted ta talk ta me.

Ion know how ta feel about this cuz she been real pissy these past 6 months. I'm obviously gon hear what she has ta say, despite how much of a bitch she been ta me, I still love her, always have, always will. But I am gonna ask her about ha attitude lately, it could be something deeper.

JJ PoV:

"3, 2, ...." I raised a finger up indicating she should start as I focuses tha camera on ha.

"What is you opinion on cultural appropriation?" I asked as she looked into the camera.

"I think it's okay to respect and appreciate another culture that isn't your own, but I think sometimes people misunderstand the true meaning of "cultural appropriation" for example, black "culture". What is black culture anyway? In the media black men are portrayed as assholes and dead beat dads and black women and girls are portrayed as ratchet and ghetto." she started causin' me ta smile from the other end of the camera.

"What irritates me personally, is when white people ,particularly "white wash" as it is know ,they take something simple like a certain way "black" people dress and change the name, then suddenly it becomes a trend. They're fine with  joining in with our "culture" but when it's time to face the shit black people face, then suddenly it's a problem" she continued.

"I have nothing against white people, as I know this is not done by all White people, it's done in every race and ethnicity. But I do have something against people staying ready to talk, dress and act the way a certain race is portrayed to act, but when it comes to facing all the shit we have to then they ain't wanna do it anymore." he finished.

I present stop in the camera and then I smiled ta ha.

"Preach" I said causin' ha ta bust out laughing.

"You was on that shit" I laughed.

"Yeah, I have  strong opinions, did I come off too strong?" she asked

"Nah, you were perfect" I said causin' ha ta smile and blush.

Kayden PoV:

"Hey..." I said as Destiny opened tha doo' wid a smile.

"Hey." she replied closing the doo' as I made my way ta tha livingroom.

"Okay... so what you wanna talk about?" She said sittin' on tha couch across me.

"I juss wanna apologise for the way I've been acting towards you. The truth is... I got in contact with my mom about 6 months ago and although it's taken me a minute... I've realised that the anger I've had for my mom all these years... I took out on you, when I finally got in contact with her. I always felt like dad was tryna make you my mom, or try make me believe you were me mom but..." I felt myself tearing up, so I stopped.

"It's okay baby" she said comin' over ta were I was and wrapping ha arms around me.

"But.. it didn't even occur to
me that you've always been my momma, for as long as I can remember, you've been there for me and I was so dumb to turn on the woman that raised me, taught me how ta tie my shoe laces  and was there the whole time... what I'm tryna say is... I'm sorry" I said testing my head on ha shoulder.

"I forgive you Kayden, you know I've always loved you and won't ever stop loving you. Your my daughter no matter what. I really don't give a fuck if your biological or not. I juss want you to be happy and feel loved as you should." she said wipping my tears.

Destiny PoV:

"I don't really like to tell people about this... Mariah and JJ don't know about this either. Before I came ta this country when I was 17, I didn't know what it felt like ta have a mother figure in my life. My mom was a druggie, a slut, a shit mother basically, so they took me away from her. I came here, to have a better life, At times I would push grandma Kae away cuz I felt like she was trying to fill the place of my mom. It was so weird cuz I hated her but at the same time I didn't want anyone ta talk shit about her or try and take her place. What I'm sayin' is... I understand what it was like not having a proper mom in your life, so when you came along, I didn't want you ta ever feel in the position that you didn't have a mother figure. Yo daddy especially ain't want you ta feel like an outcast, he wanted all his kids ta get motherly love and attention. I'm sorry if you ever felt like I didn't treat you like my own, but I promise you Kayden, I tried. It wasn't easy being a 24 year old with 3 pieces of responsibility, but I tried..." I said wipping a tear that fell... why am I being so emotional.

She juss hugged me again and we stayed like that for a few minutes.
