chapter 32

Kayden PoV:

"I'm so sorry baby, what happened?" My mom said hugging me. I guess I woke up. The doctors told me I was in a coma. They said I'm lucky that I didn't have any damage to my brain. I did fracture my leg, but apart from that I'm fine I guess. I think they just called Dad. They called my mom and it just so happened she was coming to visit me anyway. I can't even remember how I got in the predicament I'm in now. 

I played with my hair thinking of something to say.

"I can't remember" I said dryly.

"It's okay sweetie" she said grabbing her bag.

"Where are you going?" I asked confused as to why she was clearing up her stuff.

"Oh sweetie, Vanessa needs me to pick her up from her friends house. I'll come by tomorrow" she said smiling. Is his woman okay?

"Sorry who's Vanessa" I said scrunching up my eyebrows. She was ditching me. Again.

"You know who Vanessa is, she's your sister" she laughed.

I looked at her for a long second and shook my head.

"Bye then."

"Baby I hope your not mad again. You can't be selfish. I been spending a lot of time with you these past few days. I can't neglect my other babies"

I was silent and just took in what she said.

"Kayden!" Dee and Dad said coming into the room, Dee wiping tears.

I just smiled at both of them as they both looked between me and my mother.

"Orella" dad have her a nod.

"Jaxon" she said back, then looked at Destiny and and rolled her eyes.

"You okay?" Destiny said ignoring mom and coming closer to me.

I nodded. "Yeah, My head hurts a bit, but they just gave me my medication so I should be good soon" I replied as she nodded.

"Don't scare us like that again, what happened" Dad said as he sat down by the bed.

"Umm I can't really remember" I said truthfully.

"That's okay baby, it's gonna come back aight" he smiled.

"Yeah" I nodded, the truth was I don't even know if I'm ever gonna remember. I literally can't remember anything from that day.

4 Days Later:

Mariah PoV:

You can not believe how happy I've been these past few days. Kayden woke up and I've literally been by her side 24/7. I think I'm starting to get on her nerves but I don't care. I was so scared that I might have lost her.

"So how's that boy you were tellin me about" she said as her leg rested on a pillow.

"Well actually, we're dating now, he met mom and dad the night you know what happened" I said as she smiled.

"Seriously? I wanted to meet him" she pouted jokingly.

"Aha, I would have rather you met him than dad."
