A Week Later
Mariah PoV:
"So you sure he ain't crazy?" Jaden asked causin' me ta laugh.
"No... well...He can be, but I made him promise to be nice" I said. Jaden's coming over today, for the first time and daddy made sure he was home, he says he needs to make sure Jaden is "suitable", in other words good enough for me. I understand that daddy loves me and all, but he needs to calm down when it comes to me and males. Hopefully their first meeting will go well.

"Hey daddy" I said as I came into the family room with Jaden following behind me.
"Hey babygirl" he said standing up keeping his eyes on Jaden.
"Dad, this is Jaden. Jaden this is my father"
"Nice ta meet you Mr Howden"
Jaden put his hand out for dad to shake, however dad juss looked at him.
"Anyways..." I said as mom came into the room thankfully.
"Mom this is Jaden, Jaden this is my mom, Destiny"
"Hey Jaden, Mariah's told me alot about you." Ma said making it less awkward.
"Aha, Hey Mrs Howden" Jaden replied.
"Well you guys can go ta Mariah's room..." mom was about ta finish until dad interrupted.
"By themselves?"
"Yes Jaxon, have fun guys" Ma said giving dad the "stfu" face.
I heard dad sigh as we made our way upstairs.

"What colour you gettin'?" Marra asked as we both sat in tha nail salon.
"I'm thinkin' nude, what bout you?" I replied.
"I'm gonna go for this typa blue" she said showing me tha vail polish.
"Anyways, you goin' ta your house ta'night or you stayin' at Masons?"
"Think imma go home" I said as she nodded.
"Aight, well I think we all comin' ova Sunday, not sure. I heard my mom and dad sayin' somethin about a surprise announcement, so this should be good"
"Surprise announcement...interesting" I said lifting my brows.

"Babe how you gon let them go into the room alone" I asked Dee as she prepared dinner. MeMe and that lil nigga were still upstairs and I was starting to worry. I personally think that's she's still too young and she should be worried about lil niggas, but Destiny thinks otherwise.
"I understand how you might be feeling baby, but if you don't give her a lil bit of freedom now, once she has it she's gonna take the piss and use it against you."
I sighed because I knew everything she was saying was true.
