"The red one looks cute but don't you think it is a little big for Judy?"
Ally had dragged me to this new pet store half a mile from her house. She seemed too busy scrutinising each and every dog house we saw.
"Yeah" That is the least enthusiastic i could sound. My head has been wandering off to the conversation i had with my mother this morning. Julian is right for me!?

"I think the blue one is of a smaller size. So what do you think should we buy the red one or the blue one?"
"Yeah" This time i did not even hear what Ally said, i continued to say 'yeah' to every question she asked me. Maybe it's all stress that is taking a toll on me. I should keep all these wayward thoughts at bay.

"Abigail are you even listening to me? Is there something wrong? you seem alot distracted. Do you want to talk about it?"
The look of concern on her face was enough to tell me how much she cared for me. There is no way i was going to drag her in to my insecurities.
"No No. I am fine. I just have a slight headache. I need to grab some coffee. If you don't mind I'm going to the cafe across the road. Get me after you finish shopping. okay?" Maybe i could use this time to clear my head.

"I can do that." She clearly did not seem convinced but she did understand that i did not want to talk about it right now.
"Thanks Al"
"Hey Abby!" Al called out to me while i was heading out of the pet store.
"You can talk to me anytime you want. I'll always be there for you."
I gave her a small smile which reciprocated 'I know' and walked out.

I ordered my Cappuccino. I put a 20 dollar bill on the table. The guy at the counter winked at me and handed me my cappuccino and the remaining change. I absent mindedly put the change in my purse and walked towards the right side corner table.

FLASHBACK

"That's nice, keep that pose".click." Hey Regina keep your chin high and your right elbow on Abhram's shoulder.
yeah right. Keep that pose." click

Today is our first day at the photoshoot for a top brand show casing its winter collections. It is supposed to be a month long project. Regina Phalange and Abhram Malik are the face of SHAW. Wondering who they are? Well let me tell you even i have no idea who they are. It is very rare to see a high end clothing brand like SHAW appointing new models as their ambassadors rather than using a popular celebrity.

I spoke to the coordinators, made sure all essential arrangements were made for the next meet and walked towards the photoshoot area to collect all my equipments and keep them aside carefully. Ally and I had plans for this weekend. And i better hurry or she would chop off my head.
As i started arranging all the lenses in their cases i could see a man walk towards me from my peripheral vision.

"Excuse me?"
I looked up to get a better sight of his face. Woah! This guy is really very tall. Blonde hair, straight nose, long face, thin lips and an evening stubble. Pretty normal right. Wrong! His light blue eyes, they were exquisite. I think his eyes are trying to hypnotise me. I could just fall in love with them. Wait, What! No!
"Yes" I tried to answer trying to regain my composure.
"I'm looking for Regina Phalange. Do you know where i could find her?"
"I think she is in the changing room. She got off her shoot 2 minutes ago. You can wait here until she comes back."

The irritation on his face was very clearly expressed on his face. His brows knit together and his lips cringed up in a frown made him look......adorable. Crazy right. He removed his jacket and place it on the table and sat very uncomfortably on the petite sofa.

"Honey you are here! I hope i look pretty enough for the date." She swirled around flaunting off her blue dress.
"You look beautiful" Liar. He smiled at her. Fake smile.
Perks of being a photographer, one can easily differentiate a fake smile from a real.
He got up from the sofa, grabbed his jacket off the table and walked behind her.
I think something fell out of his jacket. I got my equipments assembled in the corner and walked towards the sofa. A shiny small object was near the leg of the sofa. I bent down to get a clear view of it. A wedding band! It was a plain silver wedding band.
