Lily woke up with a startle. She looks around the dark room, with the moon being the only source of light as white and blue illuminated throughout the room from the window. A clock on a bedside table read, 1:47 am. When had she even fallen asleep she wondered? Her last memories recalled her having a conversation with Blade, eating the salmon that he had ordered from before, and slowly drifting off on the couch. Then how did she wake up here...

Blush crept into Lily's cheeks as she remembered Blade's strong arms and sturdy chest as he gently carried her to this room.

Lily crept out of bed and walked across the cold floor with her bare feet. She slowly opened the door, peering out into the dark hallway and made her way into the kitchen for a glass of water.

She wondered if Blade was fast asleep at this time.

Before she could hold the glass cup under the nozzle for water, the front door suddenly opened, almost making her drop the glass.

Blade walked through the door holding a bunch of shopping and grocery bags, looking a bit surprised that Lily was awake.

"You're up." He plainly stated, as he took in her appearance. 

"Thanks, for carrying me earlier to.."

"No problem." He carried the shopping bags and placed it on the counter in front of Lily. "From the rashness of getting here earlier, I know you lacked some necessities. Here are your clothes and towels."

"Thank you." Lily held in a smile, a bit shocked at all the brand names he bought. Her eyes landed on the familiar pink and black bag named Victoria's Secret, giving Blade an odd look.

"That was no struggle, just a glance and I could tell what size you were."

Heat crept into Lily's cheeks, clearly flustered at how blunt Blade was with his rash comments.

"So, what's our plan?"

Blade gave her a confused look.

"How long are we going to stay here, what are you going to do about Deimos--"

"You do not need to concern yourself about Deimos, I will handle him. Until I find out how and why he was able to come near my territory, we'd have to lay low here for some time."

Lily sighed. She wanted to ask him when he would let her go, except her previous attempts of doing so, made her bite her tongue.

"Well, it's been a while since I've taken a shower, so I'm gonna head in." Lily spoke, signaling her exit from the kitchen.

"Fantastic, we'd go together." Blade grabbed her wrist and carried the bags in his other hand.

"What?? No!" Lily's squirming around was no match for Blade's steel grip.

Blade threw the bags on the bed and pulled the both of them inside the bathroom. He locked the handle and kept his back on the door so that Lily was unable to escape.
